  1. if your talking about the half cup that the shifter sits in inside the gearbox housing and the plastic ring that locks the shifter in, try twisting the shifter and half to discover that the bottom half threads into the top half my idiot friend cut the plastic retainer ring to fit it over the ball end of the shifter instead of twisting it in half.
  2. Hi there I am aware that I should be using a Nissan Navara D21 Speedo Drive for this because I have just put the gearbox in my R32 so I was wondering what is the australian part number for the speedo drive I have contacted my local nissan dealer and provided the following part number 32702-02G17 but they say it's not right. I was just wondering if there is a different number for australian navara's or if my dealer is just full of idiots at the service counter for parts.
  3. Also as another option does anyone know if Z32 rear subframes bolt in or even R33 rear subframes surely anything has got to be better than the standard R32 GT equipment.
  4. Hi there just wondering if a GTR R32 rear sub frame bolts straight into a GT HCR32 Also where would be the best place to purchase one in queensland and have it delivered by best of course I mean cheapest lol.
  5. is the r180 diff better or is the r200 diff better and what is the best place to find a subframe delivered in queensland.
  6. Hi there for a cheaper option I would recommend the koya drifttechs which are a multifit option 5stud for both nissan and holden and a 4 stud for 4x114.3
  7. I decided against the coil packs that sit in the valley between the 2 cam shafts, so I made my own custome setup that works better and is much cheaper by using 3 holden commodore VT coil packs bought brand new for 45 dollars each and 6 igntion lead to suite required length came to a grand total of no more than 160 dollars after purchasing the mounting brackets. 110,000 thousand volts of pure electricity with a wasted spark mode for better fuel economy and the coil packs last longer and are cheaper and more readily available to purchase. So think about that option as well I think it's a great idea works very well and I have been using it for 9 months now and not a drama and have increased power and fuel economy.
  8. Hi there all i have been chasing a new set of head lights for my R32 for some time now and I have been told by people in my local community that apparently there is a plastic head light for the r32 as in a non-projection style head light which is apparently cheaper and made of plastic. if anyone could confirm or deny this for that would be great as I am holding off on buying a new set of projection style ones if there is a cheaper plastic non-projections style option and I just haven't been able to find a seller for said item. Thank you.
  9. so no body has any advice for me? it just a simple matter of asking what diff (lsd) bolt straight into the GT rear subframe. And then what cvs do I need for the diff because of the length/spline pattern. Also do r33/Z32 Brakes bolt straight on if you convert the hubs to 5 bolt. I would be thrilled to know if anyone can help me with this formation. Cheers
  10. still have the brake and hub convo package??? I am chasing the front and rear calipers rotors and hubs if possible
  11. hi there chasing front and rear rotors and brake calipers and master cylinder for what price?
  12. i there I have many questions to ask hopefully I can get some help For starters when I bought the car I didn't realise it was a GT as it had a RB20det in it already and it was debadge and I didn't really take a hard look at the car because I got it for a good price, well what I thought was a good price at the time ... so whatever. I welded the diff and broke the gearbox, diff and CVs. The diff was a lame open diff thats the only reason why I welded it and the weld came apart while I was at a drag meet it locked up I sheered the cv shafts and broke the mainshaft in the gearbox. The CVs are 2x3 bolt pattern I want to know what diff will bolt straight in and what cvs will go with said diff. Also, Im putting a R33 GTST Series 1 gearbox in but it seems as though the gearbox that was already in the car wasn't original equipment because has a custom gearbox mount just wondering if anyone has the knowledge of whether the R33 gearbox is shorter than the standard R32 gearbox because I would assume it is shorter providing I already have a R33 box in my car that i broke. I am also putting a 5 stud hub conversion kit in the front and rear along with r33 brake rotors and brake calipers and master cylinder so I will possibly have a different spline pattern in the rear hubs, i don't know if the patterns for the hub's splines are different between models of skylines or from what my car is standard so yeah if anyone has info on all this for me that would be great. so my main delamer is that I want an LSD diff I don't know which one will bolt straight in so any ideas would be a great help.
