  1. Reasonable comparison haha
  2. New pb today on barbell bench Managed to knock out 100x10, possibly due to the fact I didn't have a spotter and the though of being crushed by a 100kg bar helped me get the last rep The mc chicken burger helped as well I think haha Also weighed in at my heaviest at 91.3kg, have been struggling to hit 91 previously...
  3. 400. Is pretty low man, ur gt ss turbos would be able to do that, why do u want a single?
  4. for 25k better off buyin a car thats got all the work done, just make sure its done by a reputable tuner youll save in the long run thats what id be doin anyway
  5. Was it number 6 that let go? just out of interest haha
  6. if theres anything ive learnt about GTR's, your better off spending a bit more when u buy the car instead of saving a couple of grand and gettin the cheaper one. in the long run it will cost u a shit load more if u get the cheaper one i know its your first one and you probably just wanna buy one so u can get in the cockpit and go, but take ur time and find one ur 100% sure u have one u wanna buy. u can get a stock box redone for around 1300 bucks,.. thats new syncros bearings and labour a reubuilt enigne.... you dont really wanna go there, especially if your on a budget
  7. what happend to 40? lol
  8. Yea hour and a half will be fine.. Remember to leave half an hour between ur shake and dinner, gives the protein time to absorb
  9. Depends how long before training ur goin to eat.. Complex carbs ie vegetables, and whole grains an 1-2 hours before training. Throw in some fruit as well, should keep u goin for a while Eat till ur full 1-2 hours o time is plenty to start digesting it all Nothing worse then training on an empty stomach Something is always better then nothing btw
  10. Yea dont get straps man... Like I said before I've just been loading up a bar bell and doin shrugs untill my grip dies and its helped alot... Went from doin sets of 10 on 90kg up to 120 in a matter of a couple of months... Overhand grip not alternate... Alternate is easier
  11. I guess long arms would help cause u wouldn't have as far to bend/ squat down as much.... Wouldn't u have short legs if u have short arms making u closer to the ground... Seems to me they would cancel each other out
  12. You think people Generally squat more then they can deadlift? You have to be joking lol, elite athletes probably the other 99% would be rare
  13. Good stuff on the squats, how tall/ heavy are u?
  14. Yea you should probably take something lol at least protein and Aminos.. So far I've found International Protein to be the best and there is ALOT of shit out there that is rubbish...
  15. I mean good as in damn good, not as in a bit better then most people I wanna be so far in front it's not debatable, not just a "bit" better... Just to clarify what I mean
  16. If u wanna be good at either one it would be very time Consuming to do both.... Still need time for cars and woman... In that order lol
  17. Hear that Nick ur at the top of your game so u can stop now haha.. Na You ll build up pretty quick if u keep pushin yourself
  18. Got a mate that can deadlift 300, bench 200 and saw him do 200x6 squat the other day I'll catch him one day, just need some help
  19. Generally people can deadlift more then they can squat, have u been squating longer then you ve been deadlifting? How heavy are u? I've been building my grip by doin heavy ass shrugs, roman deadlifts without hitting the ground and normal dead lifts.. Has helped alot
  20. How much for ur 3 lifts GTST? If it was pounds then I would just give up lol
  21. there is alot of cardio in MMA and I'm tryin to bulk up.. That and i like to get 5 gym sessions in a week
  22. Cheers mate my gaol is to get 3x my body weight Yea smith machines cause more harm then good I reckon, restrict the natural movement of the body Good u have it sorted though, now hit up those dumbbells
  23. Atm they would be for deadies 190 x1 170x3 X5 not sure but did 140x10 last week Losing grip is my biggest issue Bench barbell 125x1 115x3 105x5 Squats Approximates based on last week 130x1 115x3 100x5 Squats are pretty weak in comparison to the rest of my body so work to do. They are decent form though, goin past 90 degrees
  24. Yes I agree that to build muscle 8-10 reps is generally ideal The original argument was wats the big deal with 1RM, I've stated what it's useful for At the end of the day if my 1RM is goin up then I know ( and I do) punch out more reps on my lighter sets so it's win/win situation
  25. What hes tryin to say is that every one is scared about lifting a little bit of weight every now and then, too scared or lazy to really push themselves If u don't do 1RM how are u supposed to know how strong ur getting or how far u ve come.. Dunno about u guys but getting an extra rep on say 80% of my max doesn't get me excited and motivated as much as getting an extra %5 on my 1Rm best like I did on dead lifts the other day.. Not sayin u should be forever doin 1RM but it definatly has it's place
