  1. That is way too much training, after doin most sessions I'll be sore for at least 2-3, at least! 2 days rest between a deadlift and squat session! ... Not enough IMO, I know alot of big Lads and that is not how they train Anyway in regards to muscle workout combos I do chest then tris And back and bis Reason is doin chest/back will prefatigue tris and bis, so u really only need to do a little bit on the arms afterwards
  2. GOT ONE!!!! close thread
  3. Disagree! Twice a week is too much if u doin a smashing work out, only if ur on the juice should u train twice a week.... Maximum would be to train in 5 day cycles ie same muscle group every 5 days with no days off. Just because ur muscles aren't sore anymore doesn't mean they are not still repairing themselves, It's not training that makes the muscle grow, it's the recovery.
  4. Tangles the reason u got so big between the ages of 17 and 19 by only doin mostly cardio is because 1. U were still filling out and growing 2. Because at 2m tall u have a rather large frame to start with 3.u may also have very good genetics... Figjam is 22 and is still 66kgs, if he wants to get big he should be doin alot of weight lifting and no more then 20 min of cardio a day
  5. Personally I joined the two as I wasn't aware of any ill effects it may have. I just had pirtek to up some bundy tube to run from the front to the back. Then I cut off The standard "Y" pipe to join the hoses at the rear
  6. i agree with Dani boi you need to break up ur muscle groups to ensure u really give them a good smashing then a have a good week to repair For example my schedual is: Monday: chest and tri Tues: Legs/abs Wednesday: upper back and Bi's Thurs: Shoulders/abs Friday: lower back ie Deadlifts and back extensions To be honest mate training 3 days a week might be ok to start with but soon enough u will plateau as ur body gets used to it: You say u have a fast metabilism, personally i think people use this as an excuse for not growing: For example i left school at 17 years old to join the army, i would eat ok as i was still living at home and i wieghed in at 69kgs after the first 6 months of just eating properly i put on 10kg. since then ive really concentrated on getting bigger by eating everything and anything, and along with training ive hit a peak of 91kg, im now 22. I wouldnt say i have great genetics either Main points train hard eat often (at least every 3 hours) especially before and straight after training maintain a constant sleeping patterns 8-10hours You should get some pics up as well so u can keep a track take some measurements every 3 months to track progress good luck!!!

  10. +1 for unigroup
  11. for those who are interested still need to tidy up the oil feed and return lines Turbo on engine.zip
  12. looks awsome mate... thats one fine lookin engine bay!! i may have to do something similar with my power steering reservoir i have seen single set ups running AFMs, but didnt realise the dramas i was goin to have with the manifold pointing the turbo that way. will be very interesting to see how the turbo performs in reguards to response with the twin scroll .. and yes get some data goin
  13. as u can see the front waste gate is a pain in the arse lol was also goin to run AFM's but it will be a difficult fit Y pipe/afm/ and filters with the turbo facing to the right So the only option i can see atm is to run a D-jetro.. and good luck to the block whos doin the pluming for the wastegates TURBO IN!.zip
  14. Hey guys, as the topic suggests, just lookin for some photos/ideas from people that have already used a Full Race twin scroll manifold (im using a borg warner 83/75 single turbo) Particularly in reguards to the air intake, compressor/pressure side plumbing and power steering reservoir location Cheers Joe
  15. Just got the PM mate cheers
  16. Hi Greg PM'd u a couple of days ago about some QFM pads for my GTR.. pretty keen on gettin some so get back to us when u get a chance cheers Joe
  17. interested in the D'jetro mate, message me 0432528844
  18. my second car was a mazda 323 with a Familia engine in it. Aweseome little FWD sleeper on 15 psi picked it up for 4500 bucks
  19. throw a bike pump or air gun on the actuator and see if she opens up
  20. Straight fromt the GTR factory manual standard specs are 171psi/300rpm limit value 128psi/300rpm compression varience between cylinders 14psi/300
  21. Standard specs are 172psi, though i doubt u will find an engine with compression that goodanything over 150psi is good in my opinion, high 140's is probs stil okNissan workshop manual recommends a rebuild at around 125 from memory so anyting near there is not goodmake sure all cylinders are within 5% of each other
  22. i agree, i really dont think anyone needs 750hp in an Escort.. even 500hp would be brutal
  23. Ain't nothin but a peanut
  24. Even with a stroked/camed/ higher compression LS3 your not goin to get 750hp.. if u even got close it would be shit to drive due to the massive cam LIke i said before i reckon u could get close to 750hp for a bit over 20 grand. Does it really need to be 750hp lol?
  25. either way 750hp power is goin to cost a SH*T load of money, cheapest way i could think to get somewhere in the ball park of 750hp would be to get an LS2 (6L V8 out of a commodore, suprisingly cheap). get it built to handle boost and slap on a turbo or Roots type blower. There are places that will do a full stroker kit rebuild for under 10g and the turbo/super charger kit is goin to be around the 10g mark So even then ur lookin at 20g plus the extras. You could probs get close to 600hp with a stroked 6L with some head and cam work thats if it fits in ur engine bay of course heh heh Jump on the LS1 forums if ur keen to go that way, those guys are pretty helful
