  1. youll find that the big name jap EBC are all good quatity and generally have 2 or more boost settings
  2. how much u wanna spend mate? Greddy PROFEC B spec 2 or Apexi AVCR are a couple of common ones that will do a good job Just jap return flow cooler will work fine. ARC are some of the best but does cost $
  3. some peoples standard pistons will take 350rwkw and some wont make it past 300 (like my old engine for example) Generally its the ring land on number six that will let go as this cylinder gets the hottest As stated before it has alot to do with the tune, and how healthy the engine is Just buy some decent pistons lol youll feel better when ur givin it some curry
  4. Anything with Ronnie Coleman...the guys unbeliveable and a true inspiration
  5. Hey mate, im assuming ur still tryin to put on weight. In reguards to your eating schedual, there is a long time between ur dinner and breakfast. when ur sleepin is when ur goin to do a lot of ur muscle repair/growing so if i were u id be loading up big before u go to bed if ur tryin to put on wieght.. personally i have a casine protein shake with a 100grams of light cottage cheese before bed (around 9 - 9:30.) Even get up at 1-2 in the morning and eat again if u have too. Then im up at 6-6:30ish for breakfast. Breakfast should consist of at least oats mixed with protein powder and water (tastes like crap so mix it with honey). Make sure u load up on complex carbs an hour before and straight after training... Carbs are ur freind when ur lifting wieght and wanting to get big!
  6. yep fair enough, as the body gets fatigued technique starts to go out the window. That would be the time to use a belt. Best bet is to listen to ur body, either that or get ur spotter to watch ur form.
  7. Generally if u practice good technique on lighter weights and slowly pile up the weight over a long period of time u will be a lot less prone to back injury. The down fall of many lifters starting out is they go too hard too early and thats when injury can occur. Some_cs_Student: u dont need to wear a belt to lift 250kg, though alot of lifters would recommend a belt at that weight, that would include a lot of big power lifters. You should try wearing one at some stage, i was appose to it for a long time untill i gave it ago and i felt alot more comfortable lifting while wearing one. (whether it is placebo effect or not). You may like it, ya never know. R-spec: I agree that you should teach your body to be independant. Thats why i generally dont like to use equipment such as smith machines and hand straps. Though i think that using a belt is a different story as it is generally used to prevent injury as apose to machines that can restrict the natural movement of the body and cause injury. Thats my opinion anyway
  8. sorry guys forgot to mention, lookin for a matching set thanks
  9. Was talking about a belt to support ya core, sorry stopped reading the thread properly lol
  10. Varies from person to person,I would start using a belt when ur form starts to deteriorate, for me that's around 170kg, though I do have a mate that does 300+ 1RM and he starts to use one at 180kg, wouldn't hurt to start using it after ur warm up set. I'm talkin bout deadlifts btw
  11. cross fit is for the guys who gave up on getting big
  12. Use some thick rope, tie a knot and hang it from ur waist, not too tight though,.. dont worry itll stay on there i do it for chin ups and dips.. heaps cheaper

  19. Personally I'd be goin the nismo twin plate, just did one on a mates car and it feels great, bout 2000g from rhd, also got one for my car. Also I know ur lokin at a gettin a new box but just for reference sake I got mine done with new bearings and syncros for 1300 include labour, I pulled the box out. On both occasions I have bought from rhd I haven't paid tax.. Just talk to them and u should get out of it...I'd be gettin my gear box from them. Standard box will handle 330rwkw fine if u treat it properly
