What evidence? If you know it all already then why come in here asking.. U called it a oil drain cause that's what you thought it was.. Don't get all tied up around the axles if you learnt something.
I myself use to think it was a oil drain, until one day I pulled the hose off and there was bearly a drop of oil in the pipe. Then I did some research and discovered it acted more as a crankcase ventilation. So don't waste your time with these fitting.. Just hook your cam cover breathers to a catch can and run another fitting from your catch can to your sump higher then your oil level.
Worked fine for me
Yea get the endless pads.. Either the ones suggested or MX72's pete.
Don't get too caught up in the fluid mate, any DOT 4 is fine..it's not a race car.. Just make sure they give it a good flush through when they change it
There is no overkill with these things Paul, sick of shit breaking
All up it was 1200 delivered from the US pete.. Dual springs, locks, seats and titanium retainers
Ferrea dual springs with locks and retainers., haven't actually started the engine yet but the builder reckons they re the best and the fitment of the components is excellent
Yea they were either oem or tomei mate. Can't remember exactly but they were soft and only pushing tomei cams
ended up breaking in 3 pieces and smashing itself into a forged piston, around 20,000 old so shouldn't have failed
Gave him a quick call yesterday. Sounded like a really nice guy.
He quoted me around 350 for front and rear which is great as windscreens obrian wanted 220 for just the rear from memory.
And it's a mobile service! Will be using his services for
Sure!
And yea it's dependent on how strict your unit is on making you do PT in the morning.. Some guys just gym it twice a day as they can get away with it. I personally like mixing it up with pt in the morning and weights in the arvo after work
You will find most of them aren't juicing, would be good if it was legal but oh well
Mitch gym is free, though it is very rarely part of the PT schedule
