  1. Note: don't be messaging me/calling me expecting the tyres to be brand new. They re pretty much $30 each so what do you expect, don't waste my time
  2. I'll give the guys at comp coatings a call then. Someone previously posted that they wrapped their Intercooler piping. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is for. Yes you may stop some heat soak but wouldn't it be better to keep the piping exposed to the air to reduce charge temps as appose to keeping the heat in
  3. I've Been pulled over, the copper didn't seem to care about the high mount turbo.. And it's high.. Like cut re inforcement out of your bonnet high. They care more about your pod filter and how high it is. Also your right there dave, interstate cars can be defected.... It's funny some of the looks you get when you go to a shop to get a car cleared that isn't registered in that state.. Paper work is a bit of a mess haha
  4. good to know, thanks scotty
  5. Have some federal tyres that ive had for a bit, plenty of tread on them chasing $120 for all 4 located Holsworthy PM or message 0432528844 No low ballers, these are cheap already
  6. The guys at GCG reckon the Borg warner Beenies are good for 800 Celsius which is fine for the street but may reach higher temps after some hard circuit work. Sprints and a few laps shouldn't see that temp I imagine. Full-race also got back to me and they do ceramic coat and/or wrap their manifolds and they still give warranty against cracking. Not that I see why it should. Also noticed they ceramic coat their manifolds for 150ish bucks. Should have had it done when I bought it as GCG quoted me $905 to coat my manifold, turbine housing and 1.5m of dump pipe.. seems steep Whats the general thoughts on Turbo Beenie vs ceramic coated turbine housing in terms of reducing heat. I would imagine the beanie would work better
  7. And found, cheers close thread
  8. PMd
  9. Good info^ How long have you been running it like that? What turbo are you running. I just rang GCG and they quoted me $265 for a BW airwerks turbo beenie for an s300 series charger You would have noticed a decrease in engine bay temps even though its still hot. Got a little bit of info from someone who use to do ceramic coating, he reckons you will generally see a 30% decrease in engine bay temps. He also said he's seen a back to back of a V6 commodore that had its extractors ceramic coated and there was a definite gain in hp on the dyno
  10. Ok, bit of a thread dig here,8 years .. ive done a search but haven't found the info im looking for, if it has been discussed recently please point me in the right direction of the thread. What I want to know, has there been any further development/ results in regards to pros and cons of ceramic coating manifolds, dump pipes and turbine housings. I have a full race manifold, twin tial gates, a BW 83/75 turbo and 4 inch dump pipe Im really looking to reduce the amount of heat in the engine bay and if possible increase performance. Has anyone got any back to back results? Reliability issues? Ive messaged Full race about coating their manifolds so once I get a reply I will report back cheers
  11. Bigger is better remember Paul.. If you want response rip out those weak pon cams and get something more aggressive.. And no I don't mean bigger duration. Don't put bigger valves in as it will not help your response, Raise compression to 9.3-9.5
  12. 200/300 rpm reduction in lag from ceramic coating..though I wish it was true that Sounds unrealistic to me.. Anyone else got experiences with ceramic coating before and after? Romain, did you notice a reduction in engine bay temps??
  13. What josh said.. Get a standard 32 GTR cooler.. Will cost you next to nothing and you know it works
  14. Maybe use a hydraulic spreader?
  15. As topic suggests just looking for the lines that come off the AC compressor for an R33 GTR If anyone could help me out of or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated thanks cheers
  16. Just sent you a message Brett, cheers Assuming you have the same number
  17. Deal!!
  18. I'll take AC components if your willing to part out, still waiting on pm reply
  19. ^^^im not exactly sure what u mean mate
  20. Will you take a carton?
  21. Lol I wasn't looking for one 2 months ago As long as it fits my bracket, that's all it needs I'll take yours out when we are both free
  22. Anyone know If the 33/34 gtt/st compressor will bolt to a 26 block and bracket?
  23. You know I've read that page I don't know how many times and I never once saw that note lol, Must have been having a mans look. if I can't get a hold of a 33/34 compressor for a decent price I may well make my own bracket like yours Ewan. Judging by that pic I probably can't use my 32 lines a 33/34 compressor?
