  1. If that was to be organised if be keen for that.. Start new thread someone ..?
  2. I think there was even a cruise after the happy laps which I couldn't make unfortunately
  3. I'm here now That's right it was happy laps we did at the start of the year, Hopefully something is organised soon for early to mid Jan
  4. Hello my QLD brothers, I was up here at the start of the year and was lucky enough to meet with a few of the guys at willow bank for a track day. Im here for a couple of weeks again and would be keen to do something on the QLD SAU scene if anything is happening or in the organising stages Cheers
  5. If you go -10s you will be slower around the track.. Keep the 5s
  6. they sit flush at the top, at the bottom they poke out a little bit as the guard rolls under the car... looks really good will look even better with 265s on them
  7. Hmmm type Rota into google images, they are cheap for a reason... And they buckle a lot easilier then the genuine stuff
  8. Yea they are a fantastic wheel, light weight and massive clearance for brakes They are 18 x 9.5 +15 offset, have some 265 yokie semi slicks going on them.. Got the wheels off another member in Melbourne 37s are still a good looking wheel, I was very torn between the 2.. Especially the SL's
  9. RFP1s are a good option if your looking for something Jap, light wieght, and good quality at a good price.. i looked at some when looking for some new rims, along with the TE37s, but every Tom, Dick and prick has those rims.. so i shopped around and waited for something a bit different Ended up buying a second hand set of LMGT4s with cheap rubber for a bit over $2500, and damn they look good if i dont say so myself
  10. Some one on here (cant remember) did the figures and reckons they will do up to 450rwkw on E85... i know Piggaz was going to fit one as his lift pump to his surge tank but there was a bit of work involved so he just went with the 044.. dunno if it came with a gitting kit. im using 2 of the 400's in my surge tank... so quiet
  11. Dan are you dead set keen on an intank set up? theres options to have the surge tank under the car. My tank in the boot doesnt smell at all, its a bit more expensive cause its all CNC'd machined
  12. whos tuning it?
  13. 80 bucks to get it checked out and determine if there is any problems yes tunes are expensive... generally not tuning it becomes more expensive
  14. This.. just pay the $80 and be done with it
  15. I'm running the ross crank trigger same as Piggaz and a few other boys kicking around, as you will see here from a thread Paul posted a while back it makes a big difference to timing. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/384932-new-rb-parts-with-results/ It was stated that there seems to be a lot of these issues coming out of Unigroup What it looks like to me is that Yavuz actually points out to people when there is timing scatter where as other tuners just FOB it off, do the tune and get the cash instead of trying to make the result the best it can be. At the end of the day engine timing is spot on and the overall results and drivability speak for themselves It's a lot of cash but I'm very happy with the engine and how it drives
  16. If you go tomei you will benefit most with a re tune.. Really depends on your current set up.. If its only mild I'd stick with the stockers I'm sure some one has a spare cam laying around they could sell u
  17. Yea right, There's a bit of both, but a lot of it is very new information It's a bit of a watch but well worth it
  18. So if it was between option a) and b), option 1 would be the best option as its a bit less stuffing around and it would essentially yield the same result, that correct? I would be very interested to see the supra result if you would like to post it up Obviously the external gate EFR 83/74 would be the best option for my set up? How much longer would it be until they are available? Will it line up with my current set up ( mostly concerned about the dump pipe lining up) How much to purchase and get it to Australia Cheers
  19. Just a video i have come across that was shown on SBS last night i beleive Has some interesting opinions and scientific results that i thought might be a good discussion Not everyone is created equal http://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/11889219955/The-Truth-About-Exercise?utm_source=Programs:Programs:Featured
  20. I agree with the part where it states cardio vascular is alot easier to develope in the short term compared to strength training, I also agree that the "3 big lifts" are very usful when someone is first starting out trying to build strength.. (not that this is anything new by the way) Though he is very "strenght bias" and discards the importance of endurance too quickly Lifting weights is good conditioning if.... you wanna lift more weights. To me, this is definatly not the most efficent or best way to have good overall conditioning When he talks about professions such as being a soldier/policeman/or firefighter, i think he has missed the mark a bit I honestly dont think you can prepare yourself properly for being a police officer or fire fighter by just pumping weights, and i definatly know that you cant to be soldier, especially in a combat situation. Dont get me wrong strength definatly helps but you gotta be damn fit if you wanna survive a real life fire fight... i personally havent been in a "real" fire fight, but i can say that even by the end of a practice one....i would have rather run 5km
  21. Good stuff Jack, should be intersting to see the results, too bad its on a 3L though.. will make a response comparsion hard to gauge haha what sort of power are you expecting from it?
  22. this may be true, but all my plumbing is set up for a BW frame atm precisions dont quite fit
  23. Thanks for the reply Geoff, as you stated when we first spoke I was just looking to make the 400rwkw and as shown, the turbo you recommended did the job with the kind of response I was looking for.. But you know how it is, always power hungry Ideally I would love to have a turbo just as responsive but able to take some more boost and not flatten out up the top like mine currently does. Like you said I could achieve more power by upgrading either the housings or core.. What new bits of gear does BW have that will allow me to make an easy change over while making more top and and keeping the response if possible.. Btw I love the sound of the BW and would like to keep that unique sound as well
