Spat Power Steering Belt With New Ross Tuffbond
GTR_JOEY replied to abr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Your better off setting I higher limiter then bouncing off it.. What Paul said is ideal though -
Yep one rep full range of motion in front of the body,... So standing ad well with no momentum from the knees I'll give it a go soon, definatly won't be body weight though
-
Can anyone here strict military press their own body weight? That would be impressive
-
Righto thanks for that man.. Damn that's alot of protein though, why so much? Ive always been taught/told/believed that to build mass 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.. So I'm 88kg so I shoot for 200g Though I've been told lately that what ever weight you want to reach, you must have the protein and calorie intake of a person already at that weight.. Ie if I wanted to be 100kg I'd need 220 grams of protein a day
-
Can you copy past mate, link doesn't seem to work on my iPhone
-
How do you go abouts getting over 250grams of protein a day?

Spat Power Steering Belt With New Ross Tuffbond
GTR_JOEY replied to abr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yea for sure mate, defintaly worth the mention, and i can imagine its rather annoying that the blet keeps getting thrown. Hopefully you can sort the problem soon and report back with exactly why its happening (ross balancer or not) How much power are you making by the way? in the mean time you should get one of those idlers for the belt, not too expensive i imagine and fairly easy to fit. about ur timing belt slipping... that is very strange -

GTR_JOEY replied to abr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
firstly i can tell you i run the Ross crank trigger on my set up, ive driven it for over 2000kms with over 350rwkw and it has not once come off. i have not slipped any teeth on my timing belt either. in reguards to Piggaz car, as im sure he will explain, added a idler to the powersteering belt and hasnt had a problem since. also we dont believe that the oil pump failed due to the balancer being out off balance -
sticky date!!! lol righto let us know what you think, its less of a story line then the other one and more scientific facts.

haha Funny F@cks

Yep completly agree with what your saying in terms of adding "complications", we should be eating to live, not living to eat good work on the weight loss btw, im sure you dont mind having to go clothes shopping haha how is the high fruit vege diet going btw? If you get the time watch "Forks over Knives"

I agree with 99% of diets are fad diets are a load of bull. When we talk about increasing foods such as Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legnums to our diets to keep us healthier then no that is not bull. I dont think these scientists that have spend decades of their lives dedicated to understanding how the human body works and whats actually good for it are doing it to make a quick buck. I dont beleive they would live by the diets they have formulated if they didnt beleive they work either. You say that we are living longer and stronger, I would agree that we live longer though stronger definatly not. All one needs to do is have a look at the rate at which diet related illness has risen over the last 100 years to see that diseases such as cancer, diabities, heart conditions have substantially increases. These conditions still existed 100 years ago but as a % to populaton ratio, are no where near as high as they are now. People now die in their 40s because of heart attacks and its definatly not all genetic related. Also, you say we live longer, that is true, though only due to the fact we now have drugs and major madical procedures to add another few years here and there. Its just delaying the inevitable and preventing us from killing ourselves. We are brought up thinking that all the nutrients and minerals we need are sourced from animal products.... why would people give us bad information?... dunno, maybe a little bit of invested intrest By no means am i vegetarian or vegan, i probably eat just as much dairy, meet, eggs etc as most of the people on this forum. Im just trying to look at it critically and cypher through the rubbish we're told instead of being lazy and just excepting it. This isnt a stab at you birds, nor anyone else on here... Just saying Sorry JEPPE for the rant, thought it would be best exposed here while we're on the topic and i though u would be one to appreciate it. BTW theres another DVD you should watch that i think you will find rather interesting

This thread is starting to look dead so thought i would add some of my progress... Recently started a 5x5 program to change it up a bit. The idea being 5s sets of 5 reps so obviulsy heavy. Then try small prigressions in weight for the next session The key focus for these lifts are 100% technique and full range of motion. This is important so I dont cheat in the rep just so I can say I got all my reps and it's time to up the weight next session.. Upping the weight should really only occur when all reps can be completed without a spot or maybe failing in the last rep of the last set. I've found this routine to be pretty good, done 4 weeks now so will probably only do another 1-2 weeks before changing it again.. Some examples of progress are Weighted heaves Started at 10kg doing 5x5 Last session was 20kg 5x5 with a fail on the last rep of 5th set Weighted dips Started at 20kg Last session was 40kg 5x5 Deadlifts Started at 140kg 5x5 Last night did 150 5x5 (really should of done 155 I reckon but pussied out) Barbell lung walks Started at 50kg 5x5 (5each leg so 10 reps) Last session 65kg 5x5 Squats would be a good one but I've revised my technique so really I've gone backwards

Good to hear, though the quality of work that comes out of the workshop is always top notch. It's all the little things that add up and make for a good service...

Haha yea it's border line retarded, first off there was enough planties, now there is ONLY 2 dump trucks... And we have 9 mechanics and 3 electricians. But they still wanna send more tradies! They money they coulda saved on paying all the extra bush pay for people they don't need they coulda sent more of you blokes.... Oh wait, we're not even getting bush pay next week... Good work 6ESR -
Well that's exactly what I'm talking about mate, using more muscles=bigger lift... And let's be honest everyone wants to squat big and make progress.. Did you have trouble re adjusting your technique? Much extra stretching? Will be interesting to see the results of your test and estrogen levels once you ve done a couple of weeks on this supp.. Will have to keep us updated mate... Though I still think we don't need test boosters in our early 20s but we'll see hey
