yes im afraid it does Colin, like i said before, go there work for 2 years get rich and come back here and enjoy life, its just pretty much just like a holiday where you get paid alot and no taxes, most of my aussie mates parents in qatar would leave within a maximum of 5 years and their severence pay and savings were enough to buy a new house here and pay off their mortgages etc, 30 cents for a can of coke and 25 cents a litre for petrol, cant complain

judging from family name owner is very closely related to the sole agent of ALL Nissan vehicles in qatar, we dont have multiple onwership of delarships there, one family/person deals and distributes all vehicles from the manfacturer or sometimes more than one depending on connections and how much cash they have to buy the rights. Connections

nah wana stick with a r33 gtr, after i graduate il be buying a R34 GTR and keeping the R33 GTR as well, maybe put some money in to it and make some more power, its in very good condition compared to others, so i have a strong base to work with, but thats a long way down the line, ive been in too many supras in qatar, feel too heavy, i know suprising coming from a r33 gtr driver owner but they are, and they handle like shit, but again that was on the road never been on a track in a supra. edit : actually if i dont end up staying here then il be buying a R35 GTR in Qatar, too much hassle with coppers and rego to buy older models and its pretty much impossible to register them unless u know the right people or the king, and the few that i have seen all have UAE regos and they drive on that in Qatar, its just very complicated, GTRs are very expensive there considering we dont the luxury car tax theyr still pretty much the same price as here maybe a few grand less.

update: HKS boost controller is being removed and apexi boost control kit is being put it, apparently when the alarm install was done and the HKS turbo timer was disconnected the boost controller shat itself as well i.e wasnt workin properly because it works hand in hand with the turbo timer or something, hopefully should hit dyno in an hour or so and il be able to pick it up today, *fingers crossed*

cant win everyday Colin, im sure you will have a big night again soon with lots of monies btw just curious, do you get taxed on money you make at the casino? like after they transfer it to you bank account. i find it ridculous that Commonwealth tell me they have very good interest rates and yet i earn about 37 dollars after having 10 grand saved in the account, and they even bloody deduct 16 dollars from that for tax, thats nearly half of it, i thought i could earn good income from savings but apparently the ATO doesnt think so.

thats pretty good Daniel, i guess you just have to get used to the pay levels/wages of different countries, alot of it has to with taxes as well, after i graduate i can go back to Qatar and be guaranteed a job of 5grand a month tax free, il get no where around that here unless i have a couple of years experience, on average most of mates parents make around 7 to 10 grand a month tax free, but lifes not all about money aye , im gona stay here and live with a lower wage just coz i prefer the freedom and laid back lifestyle here, plus the car scene is way better here, if a country has no GTRs then its not worth living in lolz

the boost is being put upto 0.9 bar because after talking to Rick at EFI , he said theres f**k all difference between 0.7 and 0.9 bar, this is not going to affect fuel economy or reliability in anyway,it would be better for the car to be tuned and run at 0.9, things that i have have done that i didnt need were mainly because of the labour costs im saving on, i am doing a full service and Dan recommended the Gates Timing Belt kit, and i found cam gears brand new pretty cheap and a new water pump was put in as part of the the service being done, i saved alot of money on labour as most of the labour costs overlap each other, as for the powerfc i got it because i felt the car was running a bit rich and could do with a tune and feel smoother than it is now after being in brandons car and why bother with nistune when i can get a powerfc for a good price, as for the all the synchros and bearings, it would be a smarter choice to change all of them rather than just 4th gear so i dont have to worry about anything in the long term and have pretty much a brand new gearbox, and experience is something that comes with age, ive grown up in a different car culture and different laws to here, i learn new things as everyday passes, i believe that is what helps build experience, and as far as money is concerned sure i can live off my parents all my life if i want but thats not what i plan on doing.

im not trying to get 600kms to a tank or something, im just trying to keep it the way it is, when i bought the car it did 160kms to a tank dont know why but it did, after a service everything was better, my car has been on running on 0.7 bar since i bought it, im quite happy with everything and the way it runs, i wana learn more about the car before i want any more mods or power, ive never cut any corners with the car as that doesnt work in the long run, i just want it to be reliable and so far it hasnt let me down at all. when im old and experienced enough as some of you are and have the money more mods will be done, but for now this is it.

TPG has some of the best deals, but i have to admit the crappiest customer service department ever, my housemate called them the day he was leavin to get our internet disconected, and they put us on hold for 45 mins, everytime we had to call them we were put on hold for atleast 20 mins but theyr new plans are very good in terms of what you get for what you pay, im gona go with the adsl2+ 120GB (60+60) plan once i move in to the new place, its shaped to 512K which is way better than my previous plan which was 64K, even google would take time to load at that speed lol

yeh it has been man, not a good time since im movin to a new unit and all, but it was mainly down to xmas and new years, the gearbox work coudnt start until the guy who has the equipment to do the gearbox came back on the 6th, and then NPC just opened up today, so Dans done everything intime, it was just the waiting for other people to get back from holidays and finish or deliver the parts required, but Dan had given me this timeframe and said things do go wrong so im pretty happy with all that he has done , and thumbs up to ERD, honestly Dan has been a pleasure to work with, p.s i still wana look at your wingless gtr when im there
