and i wasnt really asking for permission bro, as we didnt have alot of skylines in qatar, i didnt know alot about them apart from the basics, its good to gather opinions and thoughts of people who are more experienced so that you dont end up making stupid mistakes, why make a mistake and learn from it when you can learn off the mistakes of other people and save alot of money, its all about being efficient , i mean thats one of the major reason for the existance of SAU isnt it? learning and gaining knowledge from fellow Skyline owners, i just like to gather thoughts about things i have on my mind regarding the car and all of you guys are always ready to give good advice and help, if i am where i am its probably because of the forum and all the knowledge and help it has provided me with, i could have made alot of major mistakes since i bought the car but SAU has come to the rescue every single time , i hope you get what i mean. Cheers

hahahaha so tru if i cum to think of it, its the why the hell is my car so quiet syndrome that hits me when im sorrounded by other skylines, nah man im never really into turning heads stuff, i dont even head to the spit or places where people bring their "hotted up cars"my car barely clocks 300ks a week , n most of that is groceries and haircuts thats about it,the longest trip its makes every week is to chapell hill and the carwash, ive always wanted a GTR coz like i said in Qatar unless u know the king personally its next to impossible to able to get one, no matter even if your willing to pay 100grand AUD for it, just very difficult, so it means alot have one here. at the end of the day 18 year olds will always be 18 year olds, i just happen to be one ,

haha i love this i see what you did there quotes, i dont even notice that stuff haha, hmmm just wanted thoughts, i guess yeh why ruin the exhaust as brandon said if its gonna be a big job because of the titanium, leanr something new everyday im quite sensitive about exhaust note , especially after the first time a copper pulled me over, he asked if anything was wrong with my car as it was too quiet for a GTR, lol. that being said they always leave me alone as they assume a 4wd spec quiet GTR probably doesnt have much done to it, haha

hey guys, posted a thread in another section, only got a few replies yet, just thought i should ask opinions here as well, basically My Fujistubo Titanium Cat-back as you guys now is very quiet until about 4000rpm, especially on idle etc, its mainly because of the resonator, currently it meets all DB sound levels and ive never had problems with cops etc when i get pulled over, ive put in a high flow cat and front pipes now so that should deepen the note but sometimes especially after being in other peoples cars here feel like have a exhaust thats a bit louder below 4000rpm as well, so i was considering cutting out the resonator and putting in a straight pipe, i am 99% sure it will be over the 90db limit once this is done, do you guys reckon its worth the extra attention from coppers and possible defects or should i just stick with what i have now, its only a 100 dollar job to do and doesnt take very long, i havent heard what the car sounds like now after the cat and front pipes btw.

brizzy_rocker replied to Bangaz Boy's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
congrats mate, would have snapped this up instantly even though im qld, but i already have a r33 gtr hehe, i wish this was for sale back when i was in the market for mine keep it in once peice mate , and dont bother with springs, keep stock suspension until you have the money for coilovers, just live with the height for a while like i did honestly springs on a GTR ruin it, coilovers or nothing -

Removing Resonator From Exhaust
brizzy_rocker replied to brizzy_rocker's topic in General Maintenance
thanks for the reply mate, im a bit confused here, the resonator is part of the exhaust, so your saying i can replace the resonator with something that will quieten down the exhaust less? -
hello SAUers, i have a Fujistubo Super-Ti Titanium 3.5 inch catback exhaust on my R33 GTR, as you will all know they are known for being quiet, i mean the car is loud past 3500 rpm buts its really quiet on idle, i was happy with it but sometimes i do feel like having a louder exhaust that is a bit louder when on idle as well, im currently geting work done on the car and also put in a high flow cat and JJR Front Pipes, i was told this would alongside increasing flow also give the car a deeper note, but i am wondering whether its worth it to get the resonator cut out and put in a straight pipe, would this help with flow as well or will is just increase the exhaust volume? its a tough decision as currently cops never hassle me as the exhaust is under the legal limit and quiet on idle when i get pulled over, is it worth getting this done and have the extra attention from police and possible defects ? Any help appreciated Cheers Adam

yeh man , but i think 120mm should be fine, just have to crab out of places more often, and most arab styling has AIDS lol, when you watch too much fast and furious and have too much money to spend that is the end result LOL that being said the rainbow r33 gtr boys from the gold coast have pretty nice cars. bit show spec with the rims though.

tristan bro you wana help me put them on, me and ghosty wil try putting them on at my place, wuldnt mind the extra help, plus you get to see how it looks before any1 else does lol, and do i need a license for driving those delivery scooters? i only have a license that allows me to drive cars, doesnt cover motorbikes scooters etc.

@ Brandon : Abu Dubai would mean Father of Dubai so yeh makes no sense lol @tristan: bro you changing your rims right? i dont know sumthn doesnt look right the way the tyre is sitting in that pic, and i will try and get the GTR 120mm off the ground front and rear if it looks nice then keep it there otherwise time to hit the legal limit at 100mm LOL, no actually thats not a good idea my resonator will scrape everywhere.
