  1. I didnt think Octane Boost was recommended for our applications? Anyway i make similar power at that boost level but i cheat and use E70 fuel
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/426197-s-a-u-n-s-w-tech-night-for-members-5th-july-servicing-blue-slips-eng-certificates/
  3. There is one tonight, basically a workshop hosts a night and educates us or shows us how things are done! Tonights is servicing/maintanance and engineering i think! You keen on coming? Its generally members only from memory but if you want to come and fill in the forms etc its a good start *hint hint* haha
  4. Lol get back to me when you are ready! For now, do your research on here! So much good info! Have a look through my build thread in my sig to show what bolt ons can do to a stock motor!
  5. Lol you said flange!
  6. Not bad for an old bloke
  7. Tell me when and where
  8. Damn!
  9. Good stuff! Best was to get to know the guys is to come cruising If you want to attend events such as circuit, hillclimb, tech nights or any official events just let us know and we will show you how to become an SAU NSW member For now, meet up with the Sydney guys and come enjoy some nice roads!
  10. To a degree it is i believe, you still want to be accelerating forward and have some form of grip.... Otherwise the run would just be a powerskid, different sport
  11. Good stuff! Hope you can make it! Cameras will be out for this event, plenty of pics for all in attendance
  12. Terry... You have an odd shaped knob!
  13. An important factor, who is your tuner and how much do they know about ECU's? Also, where are you located? The help is all here on SAU but details are the key to getting most out of here!
  14. The Hi Power Silent is not silent! Just like my Apexi Super Megaphone is dead quiet! Japan...................... You are doing it backwards!
  15. It is the correct section BUT you will find the same answer from a lot of the guys, they will tell you the info is readily available on SAU and to use the search function. The newer haltech series is a LOT better than the old Power FC which is now fairly outdated! As you will be running an RB25 in and old S13 you dont need the ECU to drive too much, you just need it to work! Depends on what your budget is and how much you want out of it.
  16. Keep cruising around and reading! When mine was making 350kw it was hard to get the power down to the ground through decent 265 tyres.... Now with 390ish it is going to be harder again! Keeping in mind my car is a few hundred kilos heavier than the S13! Get a stock engine with all the good bolt ons and screamer pipe (You said its a drift car) and you will impress your mates lolz
  17. Actually it is a muffler just in a round cannon shape! The big body on it muffles sounds really well.
  18. An S13 is pretty light, even an RB25 stock engine with bolt ons will give you a responsive 300-350kw which should be more than enough! No need to build an engine! Spend the money wisely on bolt ons and maintanance and enjoy, but dont limiter bash an RB too long or bad things happen!
