  1. Stahp talking about me kent!
  2. Its a lot to do with how you use the car too i guess! No good having full power at 3000rpm if its just going to be a tyre frying joke, but no good planting your foot and waiting to build boost........ Drag racing you can build boost on the line and launch, Circuit racing you have a lot of time WOT so lag isnt a major issue, i think the only real issue is street driving and the initial on/off response etc? I'm pretty happy with the 3037, it could be slightly better for sure but its a good all round turbo for what i need...... for now anyway!
  3. Soon man! Hopefully VERY soon.................
  4. Lol, so far its proving to be pretty good on fuel! 2 weeks of DD and i am still on the first tank and that included a 4hr drive on Saturday exploring the coast! They seem to be built pretty tough and people tend to move for it haha! My only complaint with it is the window tint at night, cant see a farken thing! Looks awesome and is nice and private for day use but night time is a bit annoying!
  5. Not really a lag monster.... YES you notice they are a big turbo but they spool fine and a super aggressive in the mid range I love it!
  6. Its turbo, white with black wheels and brings the lulz....... Sound familiar? And NO i would love to have a result but its just taking a bit longer than anticipated! This man.......... He knows!
  7. Hey man, my hands are tied.... Still waiting on JEM! Not much i can do about it....
  8. I wouldnt mind finding a catagory to suit the R34 once it is finally setup and enjoy some amatuer racing, I do not have the seat time or the cash to do anything serious but to get it on the track is certainly the aim!
  9. Why would you tighten the rear for drags? You want it to squat to launch?
  10. Make sure you Go Pro it etc!
  11. Good news man! Skids!!!!!
  12. Not really given the extra boost!
  13. Here is his sig - R32 GTR n1 block Mahle pistons, Eagle rods, Supertech Valves, 280 cams 11.5mm lift Hypertune plenum, Ported Head, 6766 CEA BB Precision Turbo just fitted, Awaiting Tune, 35psi & E85 up its gutz & see what happens.
  14. Good man! More boost and wake that GTX up!
  15. Haha i just love reading what people are doing, Its good to see new options coming out etc! I considered the GTX but it was all too hard to swap mine etc as i am lazy Did anyone ask if you have a dyno sheet for the GTX? Interesting to see what its doing.
  16. Some of the info is spread through here - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/425145-rb-25-turbo-choices/page-7 There are 2 other threads with similar discussions, it is interesting stuff
  17. I had 550's and was told to go too 1000's which i did! Turned out they were incorrect and dodgy and have now been replaced by 2000s A bit of headroom now haha
  18. Yep i had a good look at the one on the ETS ute and the quality looks pretty damn good! I would use one too!
  19. If you have the GTX there would be no real need to swap to a 35r i guess! BUT keep your eye on up and coming results as it sounds like there may be some new players in town (I've been so keen watching the discussions on the newer turbos and it seems people are starting to take a punt and try them, i hope they get good results )
  20. Providing you dont roll it and your way in!
  21. If you want another fabricator for manifolds you could try BRAE....
  22. Hahaha bet you were loving the smell and power
  23. Yep can work that out easily enough! The speedo seems to be sitting below the 0 mark and stays that far out the whole way! Surely the tyres are making it out a bit yes BUT to 20km/h haha And the owner did throw in another set of rims and tyres too, but its a part of the fun driving around in a mini monster truck
  24. Ah sweet! Looks good! I do want your cam covers
