  1. Best thing about this track day is the fact i had my Carmen driving too, although not in the 34
  2. So we loaded up and head off to United to get some E85
  3. I purchased one of those cheap rubber strips off ebay and put it on the bar... Now wish i had done it a LONG time ago as it makes the crappy looking stock bar look heaps better...
  4. Yeah one of the eyelids on my proper set of headlights got broken and looks really bad so i figured i would take them out and do the lense restore and replace the eyelids... The black set is just a set of empty shells of a GTR and was mainly for something different
  5. This pic actually shows some of the tyre damage on the outer edge... With the lack of camber in the front it was just melting that damaged section... Here is what the wheels looked like after a quick coat of plastidip...
  6. The wheels just have black plastidip on them to cover the crazy gutterrash from Wakie... It looked pretty messy so as a temporary measure i coated them with the black. Of course we had to do the white writing on the tyres to match -
  7. So i havent really done any updates in a while, basically because not much has happened... Since Wakie the car was unused and just sitting around... With all the talk of trackday prep i thought i best do some myself... SO i charged the battery... Prep complete I went into the SMSP South day knowing the left side tyres were pretty banged up on the outer edge and also the alignment took a fair hit at Wakie when i had the offroad excursion, i drove it down the street and it was left hand down and pulling left... With SMSP Sth being a short track and just a fun day i wasnt to stressed and just ran it as is. The one thing i took from this track day was that SAU NSW are a fkn top bunch of blokes! It had to be one of the best track days yet in terms of having fun.
  8. Its all about learning mate! With the mods you have lined up in the near future you will be taking chunks off your PB in no time!
  9. ^^ Car Make and Model: R34 GTT Circuit Name: SMP South Circuit (the short sucker) Lap time: 1:030 Timing: Natsoft Modifications Engine: RB25 stock engine with HTA3076 Power: low boost, 20psi, 350kw ish.
  10. Was nice to meet you mate! Looked like you were having fun Yep!
  11. Haha she loved it! Thanks for taking me on a hot lap too
  12. Anyone with RB's have issues under hard braking on the track? Oil is overfull, larger sump, catch can all sorted and working well etc etc but under really hard brakes i am bringing the oil sender warning on? A few have said they suffered similar. Options to bandaid it were an Accusump type setup possible? Also, oil pressure drops at idle after a long session on the track. Recovers as soon as revs are applied and runs pretty much where it should throughout the rev range.
  13. Interesting feedback! I run 265 on a 9" which measures about 280 and they felt OK, in saying that i have nothing to compare against so if i find some wider rims ill see if i can notice a difference.
  14. Will do mate, should take place this Monday i think!
  15. I tried
  16. Nope, was only competing if selected by Nulon for that comp but they picked a nugget Supra instead lol
  17. Yes they do flip forward, however these are sold pending payment mate... Original post updated, seats and rails gone, RSRs both sets gone.
  18. My car would get SAU banned from all future events for being a nugget
  19. Stuff still available! Sold the seat rails then got lazy and forgot to post elsewhere lol
  20. Blitz in QLD make ADR approved bonnets... As far as i know they are just stock style ready made things but you could call and ask if they will do a one off?
  21. I enjoyed the A1RM for quite a while but they did not survive heavy track use... Full weight car and numpty driver doesnt help I run decent fluid, braided lines, Master Cyl stopper, Winmax pads and DBA 4000 rotors... For stock sized setup they do pretty damn well! Will need upgrading in the near future though!
