  1. If you are asking that sort of question my advice is dont do it... Knowledge is the key with this level of modification unless you have a big bank account, in which case you just go give the car to a shop and hand over 10-15K and they will sort it out for you!
  2. Lol you clowns haha
  3. You know if i do this i am likely to end up in the grandstand?
  4. Way to kill the thread haha I know what you mean though and yes safety is important too me, especially on track... But i was hoping these would do for now, the company that is back in the links on past pages in NZ seems to deal mainly in safety race gear so i doubt they would be selling dodgy gear...
  5. No single pegging with the Nismo but thanks for the tips
  6. I honestly dont remember man, it was a reason that i just cant recall lol
  7. Yes the haltech can if the solenoid is added, we have always stuck with external boost control though, it was a decision made during the build and there was reasoning, i cant remember what it was though lol
  8. Yeah post it when you get a chance mate, keen to see!
  9. Ah nice info mate! well apparently the seat is ADR approved but the rails, i dunno.... Being that they are either made in NZ or Japan, i highly doubt it...
  10. Buy my shit - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/430836-34geeteetees-wheel-and-tyre-clearance-sale/
  11. Can make it hold boost if we really wanted too but no point creating the extra heat etc.... Adam explained it too me but it was over my head, i just smiled and nodded lol.... Basically it was done for longevity of the turbo and engine.... I had HKS EVC 5 and now Greddy Profec B II, funnily enough despite what all the reviews say the Greddy is better than the HKS on my car!
  12. Hey Guys, I have a few things i need to get out of the shed to fund other stuff, prices are firm, do not offer stupid amounts unless you like being abused! This is not Bali, this is SAU so you either like the price and buy it or GTFO... All items are located at Raymond Terrace NSW and no shipping is available due to the size of them, i occasionally make trips to the Central Coast and Sydney but not often! i have for sale - R34GTT rims 17x7.5 with shitty black paint job - I may have ripped some skids and ruined the tyres a bit... $175.00 Brand spanking Kuhmo (KU31 i am pretty sure) 215/40/17 tyres (To suit the rims above or anything similar) Looks like they retail for $115ea from what i can find on eBay so i think $175.00 for the pair will do, OR $300 you can take the 4 rims and these 2 new tyres... Kuhmo KU36 235/40/18 off the front of my car, they have been sitting around for a while and have slight feathering as all the KU36 seem to get, still done bugger all kms on them so a good tyre for skids or daily - Sell these for $200 for the pair. Nexen N6000 or something like that, 275/35/18 in size, fit my GTT no worries... Were near new when i got them and were taken off as i needed to put the RSR on for the Nats, so they have done bugger all kms too, these are not a grippy tyre as i found they would wheelspin a lot, still good for daily use - Sell these for $200 for the pair. Falken something something tyres, meant to be grippy but never tried them on my car, size is 275/40/18 - Sell these cheap for $150 for the pair. Contact me via PM, as i will be able to get to you quickly that way. Price, location and contact details can all be found in here, i am generally always close to SAU so i wont take long to reply. If you want to make an offer i am not overly interested, if you have something to swap, ill probably still not be interested unless its a set of rims and Mickey Thompson tyres i can use at the drags lol
  13. Shhhh was just hoping it would be justified
  14. Yeah my head touches the roof with a helmet and i have to sit down low in the seat which is a tad uncomfortable on track days, i am 182cm so similar in height to you! I can get the rails made through this NZ guy low with or without the sliders (They are just the same as the Bride MO from what i can tell)... I guess though once they are fitted in a fixed position it will be a pain in the ass to store anything in the back seat, but there will be a cage there eventually which will get rid of this problem i guess! Post pics of your rails and seat combo?
  15. Nice! And yeah i have been told getting grip through the first couple of gears really makes it feel like a different car, i cant get mine off the line no matter what i try so to have this sort of grip would just be nuts!!! well done.... Oh, much of a burnout prior to the run?
  16. The super 94 is never enough! I am thinking of a super 99 for the van
  17. A lot of extra boost for not much gain... Honestly on 20psi its enough of a handful
  18. What about today? Haha...
  19. Here are some HTA3076 high boost runs on my car -
  20. And Piggaz, this is the one you were after on the weekend, this is the GT vs the HTA both all out runs -
  21. This is the high and low boost run from last Saturday when we were having some ignition troubles - Still makes more power on 20psi that it did on the old GT turbo at 24psi
  22. Also, while i remember i should post up these graphs..... This is the HTA on normal high boost (25ish psi) vs an all out run with max boost screwed in (28ish psi) - You can see there is no real gain in overall power from the higher boost level which shows the HTA wheel is basically out of puff!
  23. You trying to tell me you werent impressed with the sparks off the brakes the other day?
  24. I also found the tyre was contacting more that i thought under large bumps etc and has started chewing away at stuff - Will raise the front of the car and also roll the front guards in an attempt to fix some of this contact being made! Also going to try run the 255/35 tyre up front as its wider but roughly 5mm less in diamter, i dont think this will mess with the ABS but i guess ill find out!
