Hey Guys, As most of you know the SAU NATS 2012 was an epic event, if you missed it or are unaware it happened please feel free to give yourself an uppercut! It is that time of year again where preperation must start for the big event again. I will be entering the 34 into all events as i did last year and have a goal to actually finish a lap unlike my dismal 2012 effort Ill be towing the car down on the car trailer and will be pushing it to the limits for the lulz... It is a hell of a roadtrip and should make for some unforgetable fun, i know we already have a small crew travelling in a convoy down so feel free to let us know if you are making the trip too. So far i believe its Myself and Carmen, Matt - Deka, Andrew - Fez25 and possibly some others. Its a full on weekend and the dinner is always a good one too! It will be the first road trip i have ever done of this kind and am really looking forward too it, we will be travelling after the Nats back through VIC so if we convoy on the way down, we will be splitting on the way home and going the other direction BUT we will still make the most of it... I will literally be flying the SAU NSW flag, who else is keen?

Forced Performance Hta Turbos
34GeeTeeTee replied to 34GeeTeeTee's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ill post proper graphs etc when i get time but for now these are just screen shots from Saturday when we were troubleshooting the ign problem, not bad considering the car was running on the dyno for ages and just kept pulling the numbers consistanty, these are not peak runs, just standard power runs while checking stuff, so this is as it would run on the street with full trim - On the Dyno - Low Boost - High Boost - -

I was 50/50 on the 3073 vs 3076 as response was something my car was lacking with the old setup, i do not regret the 76 choice one bit but i do really hope you go the 3073 as i have been dying to know what they will do -

Mine was setup by Adam @ JEM through the Haltech, it is the ideal setup for anything up to 700rwkw -
Forced Performance Hta Turbos
34GeeTeeTee replied to 34GeeTeeTee's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
So guys, for those that have read this from the start.... This thread has been lacking the vital info on my car in terms of boost levels and plots to show just how good this HTA turbo is.... On the weekend i was booked in with DVS JEZ for some power runs to do some checks but by fluke the car ended up back on JEM's dyno due to an issue with it while down there for a photoshoot. I was nothing but impressed when i saw the HTA does NOT need big boost to make the power and is in fact killing the GT on the same boost levels. My low boost is still set around 20-18psi and has gone from 348rwkw up to 368rwkw My high boost is now set around 25-23psi and has gone from 362rwkw up to 388rwkw (I think we were touching 24-25psi on the GT but it was bleeding to 22ish). The orginal graph i posted showed the hero run of 28-24psi but when overlayed with the normal 25-23psi run there is no difference up top, just a stronger mid range which is to be expected given the few extra PSI. I have posted some graphs in my build thread and will have more coming soon! So, i do believe there were quite a few in the thread that were assuming boost was the reason for the power increase but this proves otherwise. Also, driving the car more since my last post, the thing is just amazing under all conditions... Its got SO much grunt when on the throttle yet its still got plenty putting around at low revs. I cannot say how much i love this combo! -

Yeah its easy enough man! And at the end of the day, who cares if its the engine? Its a standard RB, its not the end of the world Look at the positives hehe -

Yep i recall Maybe check the timing and condition on it first by just taking the top cover off.... The fact all cylinders are down indicates something dodgy going on... -

Fully sick subwoofa!!! The external 044s are right behind the back seat and i find them quite nice, on cruise only one is running and over 3psi both are running! -
