  1. In this case, dont bother
  2. Yours will be the same once its all setup and running! Will just be a bit more extreme in some ways Yep, late September should be OK, we are away a bit and then October/November we are flat out! It makes me smile everytime i drive it, thats all that matters too me man! If other people enjoy it then that is just a bonus haha
  3. You mean mine? Oh, and Just Jap dont muck around -
  4. This sounds like it requires effort Well actually it is off the car for a while so i should pull my finger out and do it haha
  5. Lol Not picking on Mario Trailers, just that we found them on ebay in the same price range as the others (Hence why i said ebay spec haha).... They may be better quality, i have never seen one and as you can see by me being in this thread, i have no farkin idea about trailers either lol The reason i am worried about quality as its first real run is going to be from NSW --> SA --> VIC back to NSW for the SAU NATS! Looking forward to more detail and feedback!
  6. Yep that is one amazing looking beast!
  7. Also possible.... Can drill breather holes without any hassle, just the original plastic one looks pretty shit so was going to try pretty it up a bit The engine bay looks good but that cover always lets it down as no matter how many times you clean it or coat it black it just keeps ending up the faded plastic colour due to the heat i guess!
  8. STOP YELLING lol Those Mario trailers sure do look cheaper than most around, my missus spotted them a while back but after reading the guys advice above about steering clear of cheaper ebay spec trailers as long term they cause more hassle then they are worth, we decided to look locally and custom... Post some pics so we can get a look
  9. Haha thanks Buddy, was good to catch up finally Hopefully once your weapon is ready we can go run amok more often like old time just much louder and faster now
  10. JEM, Unigroup, CRD, DVS JEZ.... Plenty of good tuners around! Personally i use JEM but there are a LOT of good results and examples from the other guys floating around SAU
  11. Ran my car on the dyno over and over on the weekend and no heatsoak issues, ran within 1hp of the power figure.... Airbox was warm but did the job!
  12. Was looking into these too! I asked that question at the JLM night, i think its a tricky one to answer as although they may be OK for the street they are still a suspension mod and may be deemed defective, i got past the point of caring when it came to that, i try so hard to keep the car within the law but sometimes they make it impossible to modify anything!
  13. If your oil temp and water temp were that high be prepared to have a bad time! I would be getting it checked ASAP before doing much more driving!
  14. Ah interesting, will have too look into that as i thought they only did rose joint!
  15. Compare it to the 3 engine bays on the last page, its stealth enough
  16. Loom will arrive tomorrow! Thanks Terry, appreciate the link!
  17. That is exactly what i mean! You sir are a legend you have saved me having to look any further And yes i have removed the cover for now, vented sounds like the go... I still need to retain it to cover the coils and prevent the COZ RACECAR look as i am doing my best to stick with the stealth theme, i have seen the carbon vented items but these are of no interest.... I want something plain as always!
  18. I've used cheap shit arms in my car for years and my advice is...... Don't! Spend the money and get something decent, i have broken a few now and luckily none of them have caused any damage yet... I will be spending the money on proper gear in the near future as i cant risk any more issues!
  19. Oh shit, forgot to mention... The coilpack loom was all crusty and brittle... The plug clips are all cracking off etc SO the search begins for a new loom... I am hoping this will be the cause of the original IGN issue but it will get replaced as a preventative measure, ill have to get searching for one. I have found plenty of second hand ones available but being an important part of the setup i would rather buy new and know its going to be 100%! No point going half assed....
  20. So after a long day the car was back running 100% and i felt like shit.... We made the long haul home and will book the car back in with DVS JEZ for another day.... In this case, as always i cannot thank Adam @ JEM enough for what he has done, the car feels amazing to drive and to see it backing up the numbers again and again is impressive! The shoot was awesome and i hope it goes well for the guys, it is always a good experience going down to visit and if you ever need any tuning work in Sydney then give JEM a call for sure!
