Yep, contact one of the VIC admins and get them to assist, should be able to give you a number etc to get you to your track day easy enough We do them at the track days so it must be a simple task, just find the right VIC person and you will be laughing

This is a nice forum to ask about tech... In terms of your request, it is an unknown and defies logic on many levels, hence your replies. We do get a lot of entertaining ideas but a lot are from school kids with nothing better to do, in this case you asked a question and got many answers! To do it legally get and talk to an engineer before you even begin! Smartest thing you can do... A mate runs an RB26 in his S15 and so far so good, but i wouldnt be attempting a major build without being 100% sure about getting it through the system first!

I was sort of worried when i first made the purchase of the HTA as it was pretty spontanious but good ole Lithium kept me confident with the facts while waiting for the tune, everything was spot on once it was complete and the initial drive was just awesome! Big thumbs up to Forced Performance for what they have done, they have really taken a proven performer and just kicked it that bit further! In saying that, i maxed the 3037 and had it running 24psi down to 21ish..... The HTA did the same thing just on a higher scale due to a bit more flow so it was say 28psi to 24psi..... The dyno sheet shows this increase in boost as an increase in power and torque which of course makes sense, what it doesnt show is how the car behaves totally different on the street! So i agree with what you are saying IF the turbo is at its limit, but also think its a good idea for the OP to diagnose to be sure before handing over a wad of cash! I HTA all the way and think they are the best combo for an RB, i dont care what else is available nor do i care what people think, i know my car and i have never smiled so much driving it

This is why it took me 5yrs to get it from the high flow, to the 3037 and finally where its perfect for what i want with the HTA3076... Its been a long road but the car is just everything i wanted from it, i havent had much seat time and have not got the power down to the ground and already i am amazed what it can do, i think over the coming months it is going to really start showing what it can do! I had the option to buy a GTR at the time of purchase but felt i could have more fun as an all rounder in the GTT, funnily enough 5 years ago they werent that common! Now they are everywhere and cheap. They were also very expensive to modify early on as there wasnt a huge aftermarket support, nowadays there are parts galore! I smile everytime i drive the car whether its on low boost, plumb back or just off boost! Its just a damn good combo!

Will take down a heap of notes and discuss with the local trailer guys, we will get some quotes of course but would be nice to have someone close to do it so there is some form of after sale service incase anything needs doing... First thing we noticed on the demo trailer was the sides were too high, we used a technical method, i scratched my leg at the bottom of my door height and put it in the trailer found the sides were about 50mm too high so needed modifying! Good point about keeping the trailer low, i guess we need to assess the tow rig being so high too! Ideally we will drop the tyre size down to help with the SA trip... I mentioned the over wheel mounting system to the builder BUT now you mention rolling it and ripping wheels off, i might look at the chain link option Really dont want to go down the cheap trailer path as you mention Duncan, would like to do it right the first time BUT on a budget too if that makes sense, will try buy smart and do it once and do it right. The cruiser has a lot of storage, in saying that i am not too keen on having over 100L of ethanol in or on the tow car, so will have to assess that too!

Yeah they tend to whinge a LOT.... Actually on that note, with all these mods and all the research i have been doing i had to kick myself when i decided to check the farken tyre pressure and found they were 29psi in the front and 33psi in the rear.... Funny how we forget the simple things!

I tried a couple of standing starts on the weekend... I was useless, so no doubt there is skill involved! Keen to learn, just time and money are a factor as always... The car will be with me for a very long time as I love it so it WILL happen eventually

It'll get down the drags one day but for the next few months it will do daily duties and preperation for the SAU NSW SMSP South Day and the SAU NATIONALS.... Once i have done them ill get some decent rubber and see if i can run in a straight line Lol 11's maybe, but 135mph I would think so!
