Yeah i think mine is due! Will do it tomorrow and see if its any better Cheers...
  2. Been driving the car in sleeper mode, its so quiet with the gate plumbed in.... Will record some comparison sounds but for now this is all i have - http://youtu.be/0rinWJ2M01g
  3. Spotted another one on Facebook today - Some neat converts getting around!
  4. ^^^ This is the exact sort of feedback i was after! Ill have to look into the brakes a bit harder, the custom one we discussed was rated to carry 2T from my understanding plus its own weight which would give it a total of 2.5T which is also the vehicle towing capacity, ill have to double check but that is what i understood! Ill see if the missus took a photo of the rough design. Funnily we discussed the rules of lending the trailer on the way home, the answer will be "Fark off" basically Appreciate the reply!
  5. Lol, ill jump on and have a look but i am pretty sure that is the sort of size ill settle for one day! Yeah that is mine, just a crappy old pic! Ill have to send him a new one to use like i promised about a year ago
  6. Wow epic price and look awesome!

And on that note, stop giving our cars a bad name by being a fool on public roads!
  8. Hi Jason, Good to have you in the club! Hope you enjoy your time here with us
  9. Also, it will be mentioned that this topic has been covered many times! It is probably one of the most common questions and all the answers you require can be found here on SAU. First of all if you are modifying any car (Especially a GTT) take the words budget and cheap and remove them from your vocabulary! lol The shopping list you have started with shows the major parts but you need to upgrade all the supporting mods around it! You will need a fuel system (njectors, pump etc), you will need a new clutch (Generally stock wont hold more power), you will need some form of ECU (Nistune will probably do you) and THEN you need to start shopping for all the bolt on bits! I would suggest keeping with direct bolt on parts if you are trying to save on cost, get something like a Hypergear high flow (Stao is a forum trader too) and then work from there... You need to let us know what sort of budget you are looking at and we can give you an idea of what you can and cant do. Just because you gain power, doesnt mean you should lose fuel economy! Any good tuner should be able to get you both!
  10. The only one I can see is a wild looking 25mm wider version... Would rather something a bit more plain
  11. Nice work, I have the older style sensor hidden behind the BMC between it and the guard
  12. Started looking at trailers... Local shop can make one to suit the 34 for around $4500 drive away including a few extras... Looked on eBay and saw all sorts of cheap options but hard to tell what you are paying for. Can't justify spending the cash for a tilta, mainly because I need to spend that cash on the 34 itself lol... So what is the essentials list to check for when buying? Metal thickness? Brakes? Drawbar size etc?
  13. It's a major difference but mainly noticed down low, the HTA feels like a smaller turbo... You have boost the moment you squeeze the throttle unlike the GT that needed time to build. It's hard to show or explain, but from driving both turbos I would not hesitate to choose the HTA over the GT anyday... Of course it's more aggressive with the extra power and torque but I am yet to get that power to the ground, the biggest thing I am impressed with is the power/boost down low...
  14. Going from the GT3076 to the HTA3076 was the best thing I have done to the car and the change is not really shown by the numbers... I have not been posting updates but instead enjoying the car finally, it's so much faster but so much better in general too... I would recommend the HTA without hesitation.
  15. No love for the North
  16. Haha well i got lazy and knew those GTT brakes were only there until funds recover.... So i will just leave them for now
  17. Go go go!
  18. I have both, the L2S was really easy to get... Just costs more! I had to get the L2S to run with the hillclimb series, if the AASA covers everything you want to enter then i dont see any disadvantage to having it
  19. Good stuff! Progressing nicely...
  20. Hey Guys, I am just stuffing around with some designs and was wondering if anyone has the time to send me this image but with just the black outline... i.e delete the grey areas and just run the actual outline of the car and the body panels etc, more interested in the bottom 2 but if its easy enough maybe do all? I dont know if there is a clearer version online or not to help with this, like i said at this stage i am just playing around with an idea for the club If anyone can help please either PM me or post here... Cheers Mat
  21. Looks like a nice clean base to start with!
  22. Check my build thread for pics (probably back 10-15 pages) mine is setup like larger version of the Z-tune one (I think that's what Bobby said) but it's mounted under the spare wheel in a small diffuser type setup... Pretty sexy!
  23. Still love it! Pretty well done!
