The loom felt pretty good actually, to be honest everything in the engine bay seemed in pretty good nick considering its done over 100,000.... I gapped all the plugs to .8 before putting them in....

yes they're definatley the right coils. as far as i could see, everything was connected how it should be and nothing left over undone, however it was getting late and i didnt really have time to pull everything apart again, but will look more tonight. Pretty sure everything is done up fine though. oh and plugs were ngk platinum

I'd rather not name the make of coil pack until i find out what the actual cause is. I don't want people to think bad of a particular brand of coil pack if they are not in fact the cause.

Ok so i was so excited last night cos i got my new coil packs and went home to change them over, along with a new set of spark plugs... After eventually changing each one over, making sure everything was connected properly again i went to start the car up and she sounded like a WRX So anyways i thought i might just take her around the block to see how she drove, and i reversed out of the driveway, got to the end, and the car died. I went to start her up again but she wouldn't. It was trying to turn over but just wouldn't. Anyways im going to have a look inside her tonight but i just thought i might fish for peoples ideas first, so any help is very appreciated....

i must say my stagea has the factory MD player, and i have an album on CD, and a mate gave me a MD he has which is the same album, and the difference in sound quality is HUGE. The MD is so crisp and clear compared to CD....just my opinion....and i know alot of people who still have and use MD and all agree it is a good system but as Nick said, it just wasnt marketed here properly....

nah i know im just sayin its a bit sus, considering as most people have said, there were other better dressed cars, n i dont just mean my own anyways i wasnt havin a go at HERTBO cos it is hard to organize something like that, but still..... maybe as an idea for next year, hand out maps with a few little directions on them, n then on the other side have a voting form for best dressed car, then hand them back in at the end of the cruise, somethin like that....

friday night heading down parramatta road towards the city, around Leichhardt, within the space of 2 minutes spotted a goldy bronze s2 heading the opposite way, then a white s2 came up behind me....neither of them waved but at least its nice to see some more out there....would be nice to see more of them in here!
