  1. Door Lock actuators for V35 Coupe: I have just recieved today from Japan the lock actuators. It seems like Nissan has changed the design somewhat - it's not apparent from the outside and created new part numbers. Here is the verbatim text from my contact in Japan: > Parts number has been changed. > V35 Nissan Skyline > 80500-AM813 -> 80500-AM81A > 80501-AM813 -> 80501-AM81A He confirmed the initial part numbers from my VIN and the revised numbers are exactly what Nissan NZ had told me - they wanted over twice the cost I paid though.. I've fitted the RHS one and I'm sorry but this late at night I cant tell which is the left or right - you should order both anyway! I'll create a seperate thread with contact details for the Japanese guy - he was really good to deal with. Hope this helps someone....
  2. Well... I read the email again: it was actually US$340 and was for both sides - how does that compare? Whats your feeling ...do you think the Infiniti parts would be the same?
  3. I've heard from Riverside Infiniti (only took a few days). They want $US350 inc shipping to NZ. I am tempted to go with that but I have a nagging doubt that the Infiniti part may be slightly different than the Skyline unit...can anyone reassure me they are the same?
  4. Welcome to the 'Locked out of my V35' club. It is a common problem - your lock actuators are stuffed - suggest you check the thread with keyfob in the title - there is more info there. Rod
  5. Chris (or anyone), Do you happen to have correct nissan Part #'s for the CPV35 door lock actuators (motors). I have had great service from 'J's export garage' and think i could get them through them if I knew the right part numbers.... Sad/Funny story.....Right now I have a piece of string tied to the lock inside the car which I pull through the boot (remote boot access still works!) to unlock the door! Before you suggest using the key - The Japanese owner for some reason changed the lock assembly for a high security carbonite? lock - (real skinny key) - which I did,nt get with the import! arghhhhhh...
  6. I have exactly the same problem - I believe it is the door lock motor(s). Have you fixed your problem?
