  2. ill be out depending on when the miss world thing ends, if i end up going
  3. na we finished at the end of the ocean road near the roundabout near the chinese embassy. the above cruise would be better in the day as there are a few areas that may be roo infested
  4. no.. the start/finish was at the G-spot, but we can just as easily start/finish at grevellia park or the museum the cruise is (very) roughly 70 kilometers
  5. next time i suggest this route cruise.pdf
  6. Well it was a pretty good cruise. We had 10 cars at the start. There was Trozzle, Randon_I_am, Stinkypoo, Sl33py, DJ on Ice, TURISMO, ZCR, Melly, The Stitt (from Toymods and JZX100.com) Jman (the fellow chaser owner from sydney) and myself. We then cruised to Grevellia Park where we lost DJ on Ice, The Stitt and Stinkypoo as they have other places to be leaving 7 of us. TURISMO wanted food so we cruised to the G'Spot with the remaining 7 cars The mini cruise that TURISMO, Jman and myself had afterwards was alot of fun. i think we should do it during the day next time, no more scanning the roadside for roos Thanks to all for turning up cheers nerm
  7. we can always cruise southside and pick you guys up on the way.. or we could just wait at the museum for a bit longer. we are meeting at 8.. we probably wont leave until 8:15-8:30
  8. cool.. we can discuss interior lighting
  9. A fellow Chaser owner has come down from Sydney for a couple of days and wants to cruise. We are meeting at 8pm tonight at the museum. The route will be discussed at the time. 10. 1480kgs dry. my car is registered at 1520kgs, it was weighted with a full size spare, big sound system and a full tank of petrol with me in it its 1660kgs (yes i weigh 140kgs) so its a bit heavier than my friends r32 gtst at 1380kgs
  11. all i can say is Chaser FTMFW!!! ive driven one daily since july last year and there is no other car on the planet that i want or would take over the Chaser.. seriously!! interior is a little lame, nothing that some new seats or even some car seat covers wont fix. the carbon fibre trim is real carbon fibre. performance is excellent. ive got roughly 210rwkw with an fmic, EBC and powerFC. the engine is so smooth and has max torque by 3k rpm which is just awesome for daily driving/around town, you can get up to speed without the need to get on boost = pretty good fuel economy thay handle pretty damn good from factory (better than the 328i e36 bmw that i used to have) ive got coilovers and swaybars and its on fkn rails. not as good as my friends r32gtst but his car is lighter so its understandable. rear seats dont fold down which isnt that great but the boot is pretty big anyway then again, i supose im pretty biased fyi - the 4WD chaser was only released as a 2 litre non turbo auto. you can get 2j chasers but they are NA check out www.jzx100.com for more info
  12. wow! im kind of suprised how little people on this forum know about JZX110s. read this http://www.jzx100.com/forum/index.php?show...0&hl=benrys

  17. you cant hit the ball hard enough and if you do it just goes flying off and makes you even more aggro. the driving range in narrabundah is best for aggro release. what about a driving range day?
  18. naa.. you ruined it
  19. totally agree dude
  20. yup.. and i dont care. as i have previously stated i am quite happy for my car to be heavier than a 33. family sedans are meant to be heavier than sport coupes cat said that all 33s were ugly, and i was agreeing with her. it had nothing to do with weight
  21. oh no she didnt i totally agree
  22. if piston and rotary engines are so different and comparing them is stupid, why are they allowed to compete against each other in motorsport? shouldnt they have their own catagory? i think it is perfectly valid to compare rotaries to piston engines. the both do the same job (granted in different ways) and therefor should be compared. its like comparing a boat to a plane, one will get you there quicker and one will get you there in more comfort, they both still get you there in the end. i also think their design is quite remarkable. its not the most efficient design with regaurds to reliability and fuel consumption. its another take on the old combustion engine, that Felix Wankel must have been a pretty smart guy. Also when the engine was designed im pretty sure that fuel economy wasnt that important (late 50s early 60s), any they probably were just as reliable as the piston engines of the time. as its been stated eleventybillion times (this number has been proved to be just under a bajillion) its horses for courses. i personally dont have anything aginst rotaries i just hate it when their owners bag out piston engines. and i agree, the above rx7 (dcups i think?) is fkn hot..
  23. im thinking of going up on sunday morning.. i may have a free spot
  24. Car Wars is also on (think outdoor autosalon) at the track
