how much is the difference between a catback and a turbo back system?

hey guys, currently im unable to decide whether to put an exhaust system in my car. right now the stock one is alright but i want to have the noise sometimes. my friends integra sounds really great with one, deep but not too much and i want one like that but i also like it being quiet as well. when driving around at night its nice having the car nice and quiet also the cops dont look at you until they here the *whooosh*. what are your thoughts? nope not the same. this the bonnet nose was clipped onto the GTT hood and the front bar was different

just wondering what kit this is. i know its probably a gtr style one. if anyone knows where can i get it and where can i get the nose attachment. i talked to the panel beater and he said the nose is attached to the bonnet.

got pulled over by hw patrol on morely drive coz of my factory bov.. lol. the cop was all nice and stuff and said the pod was illegal without a cert and i could get a sticker but let me off and told me to get a eng cert for my strut bar as it does not meet the australia safety regulations. r34s come with a fractory front strut and was wondering if this is true?

so if your turning and your wheels are spinning making you sideways on a wet road it will detect it and cut power?

1. is there a difference between the traction control and the SLIP light that comes on? 2. does traction control also work if you brake too hard or is that abs? 3. read some things but tired and cant remember things well. does traction control work in wet weather? coz i spun out and the slip light didnt come on even though i had tcs on.

my friend has a 2003 integra luxury with i-vtec and that thing is alright. it cant beat my r34 in a straight but kicked my lagging ass in the hills and would probably have a upperhand on a track. his car has basic mod, exhaust, pod and springs. ive been in his car countless times when he has raced. he kept up with a 94 holden ute [looked modded aswell] oh a highway run. he has beaten auto s13 turbo's and 300zx and on the hills it will outrun evo's and wrx's. its a really nice car to drive aswell, very smooth and his exhaust note is really sexy. his friend has a b18c[think its the right one,type R engine] in his eg civic and that thing kills all the turbo cars he goes against.

talking about a mild/full track tuned 34GTR not a street 34GTR.

ok mines mights be a street machine but how about the red MCR machine isnt that full track setup?

i was talking to people at work and i had a long discussion about this with them but they love their holdens and fords. i want to know who would win if there was a race between the v8s at bathurst and the Mines or MCR or other jap racing GTR teams?

today on the way home from work on tonkin a black ute boosted past me then a white nissan serena boved next to me. those two had mostly the same number plates(custom ones ofcourse). they seemed to screw around more all the way down to beechboro anyone else seen it around? it was pretty cool coz it looked like a crappy van no rims or anything but when boosting it i could hear a bov.

been working alot and havent had a chance to come down. the work on the car isnt finished yet but i will bring it down when i get it back

i just received a call from the officer investigating the crash and he said they have everything sorted and i will have his details on tuesday and i will get my 3k back!!!

lol this happened to me few months ago.. scared the crap outta me.. car was sounding like a wrx and it wouldnt acc past 20. let it dry overnight and it was back to normal

*punches dani in the face* i dropped my gf off at home and driving home on the freeway. wrx drove past me pretty fast so i followed from berragan drv past leach or canning. there was road works so i slowed down and the wrx got behind me, after we past he changed lanes and boosted it off, 5 secs later i see light flashing so i change to the left lane and it follows so i was pretty angry coz i stayed the speed limit and the wrx boosted it off he didnt even slow down when the light were flashing. so the P plater in the 34 gets pulled over and yelled at for about 10 mins. after that the cop just gave me a warning and took off fast. second time me and my friends were going to freo esplanade and got lost. had my gf, my lil sis and me in one car and my friend in his car. he called me and told me to turn the car around coz he thought he knew where to go. i turn into a street and some guy yells get off the fone, so i reved it and went down the road and did a u turn. next thing i see is 2 guys on the road holding badges and my friend pulling into a carpark. we both got a ticket for being on the phone while driving. the cop came and he started off a bit rude but my gf and little sis talked to him and told him our situation[bit of flirting] so he became nice and told us how to get there and if we got lost to turn around and come back coz they would still be in that area :laughing-smiley-014:
