  1. tyre shops usually say 32psi so that they can't be liable for damages caused by people who over inflate their tyres as they told them to use 32psi.
  2. thats a bit low, but shouldnt cause your traction issues. im running 38psi cold so that after they warm up fully, all 4 are running at 40psi
  3. best thing would be to take it to a suspension shop which is known to do good work and get them to check it out. might cost you money but its a hell of a lot better than crashing the tyres should pretty good so for them to lose it like that even in the dry would point to suspension issues
  4. how did you get slotted rotors for that cheap?? also are there any shops in canberra that can get QFM brake pads? im really broke right now after buying the HSD struts so would like to get good braking gear for as cheap as possible
  5. are they really good? lol i've only got R33 front stuff. its all gonna be R31 stuff on the back though i'll look further into this group buy as all i need now are the rotors and brake pads then i'm good to go
  6. full set as in front and rear? or just fronts? if so where can i get the DBAs for that good a price lol??
  7. yea ive read through the group buy and saw the RRP on the front set as $305 lol which was why i was like WTF that expensive?? i know the bloke doing the group buys has done them a lot, but im still iffy about sending that much money to someone i dont personally know.
  8. just wondering if the RDA R33 GTST slotted rotors are really worth $610 for a front pair? I got the quote from ACT brakes today and thought thats way too expensive. any comments? also are there any good disk brake suppliers in canberra? i'll be getting EBC red stuff brake pads for the front and some equivalent TRW pads for the rear R31 calipers with standard slotted rear disks
  9. damn everyone beat me to it
  10. you guys are lucky you drive the newer skylines so many people still don't know there were skylines before the R32
  11. it would also be too much work for their small brains
  12. yea i saw it on the news as well, but he was in a pulsar GTIR looked like he was part of a nissan car club as well
  13. my car was out but i steered well clear of civic braddon and exhibition park during summernats. so glad its finished lol. I'm with Bullet32, wouldn't give a shit if summernats was moved interstate as it seems to bring out a lot of wankers each and every year. bring autosalon to canberra!!! much better cars and better looking models
  14. what do you guys think of the EBC red stuff brake pads? hasnt been much discussion on them in here and i can get them with my RDA rotors when i do an R33 brake upgrade on my R31
  15. awesome i'll be out soonish and bring some moneys for you for the food
  16. sounds like a plan
  17. i had a guy in a supra check out my R31 when we were at the traffic lights once lol. was fairly strange but cool ive gotten some waves from younger R31 owners but all the later skyline owners dont recognise my car as a skyline
  18. hey Fatz, are you selling the brake calipers and lines as well? and is it a GTST or a GTS model? (you mentioned turbo) also are you willing to post to canberra? thanks Dan
  19. sounds like a good plan lol. if it does get too crowded then pine island it is!!
  20. bump does anyone know of any decent wreckers that would have R33 and S13 wrecks in canberra/queanbeyano or near sydney's cbd (on the way to the airport/otomoto)
  21. left4dead is heaps fun and insane on expert. you really do need 4 competent FPS players to work together to finish a campaign. still hitting up CSS and CoD4 heaps as well so keep an eye out for Potato Sauce
  22. i cant say no to getting paid to bludge around plus i need to save up for a new skyline, as mine has suspension thats so far gone, the mechanics couldn't do a wheel aligment
  23. wont be able to make it. got called in for work this sunday seeing as its closer to christmas now
  24. it was slippery as f**k last friday cause it was raining after a long time without rain. i remember my car stepping out suddenly on a part where there had been road works cause there was loose dirt and oil on the road. if 4 other cars had driven past then that guy was probably either blind or paying attention to something else other than the road. you should be able to get a few thousand back on your car if you wreck it. (try the R31 skyline club cause people are always looking for upgrades to the RB30E )
  25. hey thats heaps unlucky dude. go for the legal advice and see if you can get anything done about it. its similar to someone rear ending you because you had to avoid an accident, they should have been watching the road, and ten seconds it plenty of time to stop/avoid an accident if that guy was watching the road.
