PMs replied. Update, I just found a brand new gasket for the dump for the turbo. I will included this in the turbo sale.

I have a genuine n1 with lower lip. Has a crack and a bit of damage (not to the lip but the actual bar), but nothing unrepairable. Have been quoted 100-120 by a plastic welder to fix. Bottom Lip is perfect but the whole thing would need painting. I am chasing 250ish, or swap for a front bar for a GTST like a copy GTR. Let me no if ur keen, I started sanding it back but haven't really got the time to finish it. PM me.

Mate any exhaust shop will be able to help you out. I use my exhaust shop to cut, weld, and modify intake pipes all the time. After all they weld pipes and bends all day long. There experts.

Hi Team, I am on my green Ps, got my license after July 1st blah blah, so its illegal for me to drive a turbo. I have a 4 door 32, don't drive it every day, just a few times a week. I don't no if its because its a 4 door, maybe other 4 door owners can confirm, but i don't seem to attract as much attention. I have been pulled over and defected, and been in many places/situations where I am more likely to be attracting attention. But I have not been fined, and have been through many breath tests, and despite even being detained by the side of the road for 2 hours once, still haven't been done on the new laws. I do think it has a lot to do where you live as well. I am in the south eastern suburbs, 10-15 mins from the city, the cops (with the exception of Prahran police(chapel st / Princes HWY ) seem to be cool as long as you drive in a sensible manner.

So when it goes hard is it in that 70km mode? or is that in the several minutes before?

Thanks mate this is very helpfull. Just to confirm. The powersteering is effectivly working? But just runing as if it was at 70km/h all the time.

Its more the effort factor, and the reliability, as the cable is likely to snap again as the car is used mainly as drift/track car. I don't really need a speed, was more wondering if anyone new if it was possible to by pass the sensor to make power steering work. More like is there a way I can wire it to get around not having a speedo. I am sure there would have to be a way.

I still want to have power steering, just to be able to use it without a speedo cable. But out of interest is there a steering rack for a R32 that had no power steering ?

interested in cheaper wastegates, is it a case of you get what you pay for? Or are there some decent ones out there?

Does anyone no if running without power steering will wreck the pump, its still pumping, but i think it always thinks its in low speed mode. Just want to drive my car.

Hi Team, Just snapped my speedo cable, and my power steering is dead. Still want to drive my car and eventually I will replace the cable, but just wondering if there's a quick fix to get the power steering to work, without replacing the speedo. I don't mind if the speedo doesn't work, I will use the GPS, just want to no if there's a way to trick the power steering without a speedo cable. My car is r32 GTST. And I have completely removed Hicas. Hope some can help. Need an answer asap!! Thanks
