  1. Hi Guys, I am in the process of putting together my first Rb30det, and have spent hours reading the threads. I would like to here some of your thoughts on the setup I am planing to run. Currently I have a - r32 Rb25DE Head, which has been cleaned up, new valve stem seals, and equivalent GTR valve springs. - 2x RB30 Blocks - ACL rebuild kit (cast pistons over-sized, rings, bearings ect) - All new gaskets - Rb26 Oil pump - Crank collar Support mods include - Rb25 GCG High-flow 14psi actuator (min psi it can run) - Sard 650cc injectors - Splitfires - FMIC, 3" turbo back (no cat) - z32 - Sard FPR Drive train - RB25 Box with 5 puck button Exceedy. Tuned Via Nisstune ECU. I am doing this on a budget, and can do alot of the work myself, I have all the support mods from my current RB20 set up (hence the RB25DE head). But I have heard the NA heads have bad flow and can be restrictive. This engine will be used for hill climbs and drift, mostly drift, so I want a reliable motor. Concerns: - My power goal would be around the 250rwkw (please let me no if you think this is un-achievable), and would love 700nm + torque. - Could my goals be achieved on a standard Rb30 bottom end? Or should I rebuild it with my cast pistons and new bearings? - Also for my goal and intended use, is standard pistons ok? Or should I really consider forged? - The small RB25 high flow turbo could also see as a restriction, choking up the exhaust side. Or power-band could be peaky to early, maybe unusable? Thoughts? If you have any other thoughts or suggestions on my planed build please let me no your thoughts.

  8. Hi Guys, After a clean straight r32 shell, must be complied/previously registered. Does not need to be rolling, but preffered, I am simply after a clean straight body/chassis with minimal or no damage. Please post or PM offers. I can swap some things if your after somthing, I have lots of rb20 gear, including a good engine. aswell as cash also. Let me no what you've got.

  11. I am building an rb30 so can sell my rb20 bare motor without all those bits as I will need them. PM with offer. Motor wont be out for a month or so how ever. But can be seen in running condition.

  13. Yeh I have tried that, its also got Port Speed - Default is 9600 Address Read - Default is C9 ECU ID (In Hex) - EF I have no idea what any of these mean, but I am sure has somthing to do with connecting.

  15. Hi Guys, Need to diagnose a problem with my car, and I can not connect my Nissan Data Scan to ecu. Keeps bringing up "invalid port number" Has anyone had success using Nissan Data Scan with a Nistune ECU. I am running a Type 2 board if that helps
  16. Yeh was just an idea, as I have seen it done on 300zx. UAS actually sell ported kits for 300's, but yes abit off topic.
  17. Abit off topic, but would it be possible to port out the stock manifold, ceramic coat, and heat-rap and heat sheild to help scavaging?

  19. Sorry to bring up an older thread, but rather this then start a new one. I am not concerned with having a speedo reading as I use my GPS, as it provides other readouts as well. But without a speed signal the car will override the top speed setting (320kmph Nistune ECU) and I will have no power steering. Is there anyway to to trick to speed signal so that power steering works. I expect most of you will just say use the navara speedo and just don't care if its uncalibrated, I will if there is no other way...of course.

  21. Comp tested! Engine not blown, turbo not blown, spark and fuel...but suspect fuel pump or pressure... Still for sale, but price is neg. If I dont sell it will just get fixed slowley, I am about to start trade school so no money, my loss your gain, make an offer.
