  1. I'd be up for it but might be busy too. I'm in a silver 34 if you see me out and about tho
  2. that sucks ^ was such a tidy example of a silver 34 too
  3. very noice - looks mint
  4. cheers for the advice and thanks Dan for the pic, very helpful. Hopefully it turns out as clean as you did it there
  5. wouldn't mind this on mine, except maybe white instead of the red (on silver car)

spotted "KUPO". Gunmetal R33 GTS, heading towards Geelong
  9. I felt a definate difference when I got my 18's - though bit harder to tell considering the old tyres were bald and had no grip whatsoever! I'd say 18's are the way to go. 19's seemed too big when I sized them up on my 34, not to mention how rough they'd feel on the road and the weight of them.

that bypass is ideal. leads me straight to uni
  11. sounds good. a benefit of leaving it non-turbo too is it'll be easier to sell to p-platers in the future

needa spot some more skylines in geelong. go out for a cruise Friday night
  13. apparently a late model Pulsar hatchback is the way to go... saw one last night with rear windows heavily fogged up, in a quiet carpark and some suspect looking silhouettes
  14. All three, but not OTT. Engine wise its not worth pouring dollars into. Just intake/exhaust maybe - get the air/gases flowing through high flow panel/pod filter, extractors, high flow cat and catback if you're after a little bit more go. Exterior stock does look fine. As said, rims, lowered and its fine. Go a kit if you want it to look a little tougher or differentiate it from the other 34's getting around. Interior - leatherette seats (seen them in group buys on here that looked alright), gauges, or as you said, sound system. I guess if you have some big subs in the boot weighing it down, you'll have excuse for the slowness of our NA's
  15. I'm thinking bout spraying the NEO cover. Too many hoses and what not messing up the look of it otherwise how about enclosing your pod (cover over top)?
  16. Opening sequence for volt gauge I've got myself the GTT triple gauge pod from member on here, and 3 new stepper motor gauges (Volt, Oil Temp and Vacuum) I got for free Just a few questions before I start anything: In the GTT, is the area covered by this gauge pod completely cut out? How and where is it secured at the rear? Oil temp sensor - use a sandwich plate between the block and oil filter? If I'm not confident on hacking the dash myself, how much of a job would it be to get done? Would do all the wiring myself, just fittin the pod neatly. I'll post pics up along the way for anyone else who is considering this too. Any tips or advice would be well appreciated
  17. Depends how long you've got left on your P's. If it's not too long, hold out and get the GTT. I went the NA because I wasn't going to try and hold out 3 years on P's without being pulled over, or even being in an accident (would void insurance I'm sure). The NA should be an easy sell too considering how many new P-platers would be after them with the no-turbo rules. People saying car is too powerful etc is load of crap. If you're a twat and plant the foot at all times, etc, and crash - you brought it on yourself, dont blame the car!
  18. your 34 must be a real POS if a VN or Mazda 3 could take it on
  19. i'm out over the other side of corio bay, but go into Geelong all the time.
  20. geelong is full of commowhore drivers like that - take a look at eastern beach on a fri/sat night comparing my NA R34 to all the NA commos i've driven (VN, VS, VX, VY), most are auto, and aren't much cop anyway!
  21. what are the price of these outside the group buy, around $300? i think I'll just purchase outside gb to avoid the stuffing around (thats if it even takes off again)
