Spotted Arena GTR (?) and had a talk with him at the servo today, nice guy and an awesome car (silver r33 GTR v-spec, bronze work wheels, exhaust, super tidy).

Good luck with fitting them, contemplating doing the same to my 33, let us know how you go and once they are on pics and explanation would be good! (might be asking too much though! haha) Cheers

Spotted an R34 Gtr, silver, looked fairly stock, driving on Stephens Terrace this arvo bout 2.15, possibly the highlight of work today!

I think I know the car your talking about, I parked next to it in the city, it has a number plate made up of a random series of numbers and letters?(I couldn't decipher it). The bar sticks out a long way forward, it has an ET exhaust and I think its auto. RIP

Saw RBT 034, black r34 with exhaust, possibly GTR spoiler and maybe wheels on Greenhill road about Midday today. Also saw bayside blue r34 GTR with white CE28's on sat night coming down Greenhill road following a MX5, it looked like the lead car from the NS cruise a month or so ago.

Spotted a black 32 on Glynburn road bout 4pm, wheels & exhaust, waved and got a wave back!

Spotted a scuba yellow 33 (possibly series 1) with a big FMIC, side mounted new S style rego plates and wheels turning off Portrush Road onto Greenhill Road about 8.45am this morning.

Correct yes, I just noticed that the 4000s have the slots on the edge whereas the street series with slots do not run to the edge. I doubt I will be pushing the car that hard at the moment but down the track (no pun intended!) who knows what could happen so I prefer to be over braked rather then under do it. I will have to research it a bit more ( I also just noticed a gold street series which appears to be drilled as well as slotted). Thanks for clearing that up, might not have noticed otherwise!

Saw a white 4dr R31 on Magill road about midday with body kit, exhaust, wheels (with large amounts of front wheel camber), it was nice and clean. Also spotted some students; one with a nice Evo 9 and a friend? who has a grey 34 GT-T with black wheels with dish.

I can understand the difficulty you may have with waving! Yeh I was stoked that the car came with them, 18" TE37's would be awesome but I prefer these 16's over a rubbish pair of 18's anyway. No I am not the first Australian owner, the radiator, etc has all been flushed and replaced. Yeh so far I haven't fitted the pads, the current pads are still ok but the rotors would benefit from a machine. According to two seperate mechanics they are still acceptable (they brake fine) its just something they say would be best to do sooner rather then later. I would prefer to swap the rotors to DBA 4000 slotted rotors when I put the pads in rather then just get them machined. It is high on my priority list to do this soon! Thanks for the comments. Hi all, I have been singed up to SAU for a little while but I finally got my skyline late last year. I have included a few pics below. I ended up buying it from Victoria because the market was larger then here in SA. Here are the specs; Black 1997 Type M coupe manual 16" Volk TE37 Apexi front pipe/high flow cat/universal muffler Short shift shifter Greddy boost gauge and turbo timer HKS springs (apparently!?) Kenwood TV/DVD, 6x9's, etc. All I have done so far since owning is fit; Alarm/immobiliser Hybrid intercooler I have a set of QFM pads that haven't been fitted yet It also needed the major service as well as SA Plates/rego, etc. Let me know what you think, if you see my driving feel say free to wave and if I see you I will try and wave back!

Thanks to Ryan for even replying to my pm's! I think it is important not to lose the fun element so I understand your decision. I have never even met you but I would trust you with my car more then a lot of workshops because you have (I hope you still do!) a passion for it. Cheers

I saw an aqua blue 34 heading south on West Terrace Friday Arvo, had big chrome and black wheels, white interior, black bonnet and possibly boot, twin exhausts tips. P plater but it was NSW plates, might have been NA, couldnt see a front mount intercooler. Here for Christmas or purchased from NSW?
