Okay, my baby is up for sale, just bought a forester GT (need a more practical car). Car has been well looked after for the last 3 1/2 years since I bought it as a fresh import. Serviced every 5000km with synthetic oil etc. Now has 129000km. Only really driven on weekends for the last year. Car is in extremely good condition. Has never missed a beat. I have had projector headlights with both H3C and H1 globes in mine. Not sure when they changed. Only physical difference between was the projector bulb itself. The H3C bulb was more smokey in colour to the H1 which was whiter (i think, i cant remember which way around it was now)

Mine were very tight too. just keep pressure on the bolts screwing the rotor out, tap away with the mallet. Pressure and shock impacts should get them off. Just dont be too savage. At the end of the day you said you were replacing them anyway.

What car? R32? If so just use the threaded holes to slowly work the rotor off. Might help to tap the rotor (near stud holes) with a mallet to help work them off. Just do it slowly, and be patient. They will come eventually, norlmally have not been off for a long time.
