  1. Can you explain which switch you are talking about a little bit more clearly, or even better, a photo? Just can't think of the switch you are talking about. What year 32?
  2. I had the same problem on my 32. Due to the car only having central locking, not remote central fitted standard, an extra motor was needed when the alarm was fitted to give me my remote access. The connection between the new remote motor and my standard door locks was slipping resulting in unlocked but alarmed car being left everywhere:(
  3. I have an auscruise unit fitted to my R32 gtst. Autobarn Elizabeth fitted it. I bought the unit on one of their 20% off days, but all up fitted cost around $550 i think. I had lots of problems getting it to cruise smoothly though. Would hunt for speed (ie accelerate through, then off throttle, deccelerate back through set speed) was real annoying. Car went back about 5 times until they set the unit up right that it cruises nicely. Just reacts slowly, unlike a factory fitted unit. So basically make sure they have the ability to reprogram the control module, to suit the car. I think i had so much problem because of how touchy the throttle is when cruising (ie 110km or so).
  4. hey man, do you have the rh castor rod assembly for the gtst? If so how much?
  5. Thanks for the input. Decided to go for Hankook K104's, as there had been a bit of positive feedback in other threads (in 205/55/16). They are going on today. Will let you know how they hold up.
  6. cheers for the replys boys. I drive the the thing how it is meant to be driven. Saying that i mean i like to get the power to the ground (mere 165rwkw, still stock turbo), and throw the thing round in the twisty stuff, but i still expect more than around 17000km. Am i expecting too much? Also expect them to grip once warmed up, not break into spin on gear changes. Went 225/50/16 before chasing grip, but made the car feel like a boat around corners on the stock 6.5" rims. Will do some chasing round tomorrow and see what i can find.
  7. hi all, just wondering if anyone has used or had experience with fulda tyres? I need to replace my rears fairly soon, and the guy was trying to sell me a set in 205/55/16 for a r32. It is a daily driver and clocks up a few km's, so i need a certain level of durability, but good grip levels. Currently running toyo tpg's, but not particuarly impressed with grip or wear. Did a search but come up with nothing. cheers for anyones input.
  8. Can you pm pics please
  9. Sorry dude, other things have popped up, and can not justify at the moment.
  10. I would guess that one of those spare wires is another earth for the handbrake, ie, if someone tries to take off when it is running down on the TT, handbrake off=engine off. The second spare would depend on extra functions of the TT, ie voltage, automatic mode etc My 2c
  11. Any problems with scraping the front on full lock on a 32? Will you ship to adelaide?
  12. Rims still for sale? What size rubber is currently on them?
  13. I would not recommend getting engineering reports done interstate if coming back to sa. I had my previous car, series 3 bluebird with a CA18DET dropped in it, engineered in nsw because i moved there for 12 months, then tried to come back to sa, and they would not except it. Wanted it engineered again here, because our laws are more stringent or some shit. End result, spat the dummy and bought a 32, because i refused to pay another $1200-$1500 to have it engineered, when it only cost me $300 in Wagga to get done.
  14. Also interested.
  15. The CA18DET's are tough little buggers. I was running over 20PSI without knowing (cracked diaphram in actuator) for I don't know how long. Standard turbo and engine survived. Only had a FMIC, exhaust and re mapped computer. Was still going strong 50 000 km later at 15PSI once the actuator was fixed. If it is tuned properly, and the turbo wheel can handle the speed, I dobt he will have any trouble with it.
  16. Would love to come for a cruise, but unfortunately, I will still be out of the country:(
  17. One of the many that have missed this thread. Been roaming the forum for a while now, but have yet to catch up for a cruise. Slack :jk:
  18. I have found vortex to be below par. Only 95 octane last time i checked. Caused misfiring in both my previous car (bluebird with a boosted CA18) and my current stock R32 GTST.

The rally shop on Magil Rd? Autosport?
  20. Well definately interested. Where are you located for a look and when would be convenient? PM me with details or on 0408817266
  21. interested in the intercooler if you still have it. How does the piping run? Require much cutting to fit to standard R32? What is the core size?
  22. i would also be interested in tint for a 32. Was looking at what they called 'black ice' or something like that, because it looked blacker than the equivalent F1 tint.
