    Spotted VSPECT on Auburn Rd. (just off Toorak Rd.) yesterday arvo. Not sure what time but catched a glipmse of ya as you drove past where I parked. Nice looking 33 bud

  6. Hahaha yeah that's true, the weather has been borderline Alaska. But yeah, if it was only air temp then timing would have changed as well as boost
  7. Yeah that could be true but Joey mentioned that it made the power with less timing and less boost, so I'd rule out colder temps being the reason.
  8. I've driven a couple of my mate's 98-99 WRXs in the past and they're not too bad, but the one thing I hated most about them was the real lack of action down-low. I've never driven an RB20 before so I'm not sure how they would compare but the EJ20 is alright once it does get going. Oh, and the seats in them are AWESOME!!

  13. You don't neccaserily have to go MAP sensors to run a vent-to-atmosphere BOV. Even just a piggyback can be enough to get around the stalling issue as the tuner can subtract fuel to avoid it from stalling But yeah, cheapest option is stock BOV. Otherwise, almost any kind of piggyback ECU will do the trick I had the same problem a little while ago too but I chucked in a Greddy E-Manage (which I'Il be selling in the near future *wink wink nudge nudge* haha) and got it tuned and it's all happy now
  14. Ahhh I see. More than likely it's your BOV that's causing the stalling issue. If you have the stock one, chuck it back on and check if your car is still playing up but I'm almost certain it's the BOV playing games lol As for the CAS, it's the round metal thing poking out of the cam gear cover
  15. Hey mate, the stalling issue sounds like one of two things so far: - Vacuum leak (check all your hoses and piping) - BOV (I presume it's a vent-to-atmosphere one?) If you don't have an aftermarket ECU (be it a full standalone like Power FC or a piggyback or a re-mapped stocked ECU) then I'm fairly certain that it would eliminate your running rich problem, hesitation problem, as well as your stalling issue (provided it's not a vacuum leak and is BOV related). As for oil on the plug, that doesn't sound very good but have you got a compression test done?
  16. Yeah that's true mate, I've noticed lately there's been a huge increase in cop presence on our roads. I'm from Berwick but usually stay in Frankston with the missus and I get paranoid everytime I jump in the car LOL
  17. Sorry for the late reply, only just seen it. I just wired the Z32 plug into the existing AFM loom so the RB25 plug is still attached. In other words, the one loom as 2 plugs on it, the Z32 and RB25
