  1. Yep yep, it was definetly you then. Saw the bonnet vent and thought "looks pretty good" I was behind you in Maccas drive-through ages ago when you mentioned it in the spotted thread hehe I'll give you a wave/beep next time, though my horn is piss weak and I'm rather embarrased by it haha
  2. Hey W0rp3d, if you happen to find a launch control system (standalone, not in-built into an ECU) that didn't retard the timing (i.e blow things up) then I'd be interested as I'm on the hunt for one too as my setup is a bit on the laggy side and could do with a decent launch hehe P.S I think I spotted you along Frankston-Dandy Rd just the other day near Klauer St, going towards Frankston
  3. BUMP!!
  4. Hey mate, no reason why it shouldn't. The only thing is it doesn't come with a pod filter adaptor for your AFM but they're like $25 or so from Autobarn I believe. I can have a look around to see if I have a spare one laying around and if I did, it would be for a RB25 but I'm more than happy to chuck it in for a couple of extra bucks so you can try for yourself to see if it fits Got you first in line bud All PMs have also been replied to
  5. Here's the thread for the bench press I'm selling http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365039-bench-press-gym-set/
  6. Hey, I'm selling my bench press / gym station. I'm located in S.E VIC so pick-up is available or I can meet you halfway or can post if needed - In excellent condition - Has been looked after and can't be faulted and has always been kept indoors. - Includes every option possible (lat pull down and bar, preacher pad, leg extensions, shoulder press) - Bench press has 2-level incline and decline - Provisions for weights at the back of the bench press (saves you having to buy a weight stand) - Includes bar but no weights I purchased this brand new with all options for $980 and it still looks pretty much brand new. With this, you can work virtually every single muscle in your body so saves you from buying multiple gym stations. This isn't a K-Mart sort of bench press and the size difference compared to them makes it obvious that this is a serious piece of kit and unless you're Ronnie Coleman or Arnie, it's doubtful you'll outgrow this lol Reason for selling is I started my new job which has a gym membership so figured I'd sell this since it's not getting used and use funds for mods on my car [ If you need bigger/clearer photos then just let me know and I'll try get some Price: $600 ONO PM me, reply in this thread or contact me on 0402 732 860 I'm looking for these things in particular and I'm sure we can come to an agreement if you want to trade with cash adjustment either way: - Plazmaman RB25 intake plenum - Power FC EL hand controller (the new version that works with all models of PFC) - If I need anything else, I'll add it to the list. Or just throw me offers of what you got, but do prefer cash or the above two though. Cheers.
  7. Hey, I just got a few things for sale to help fund my next round of mods I'm located in S.E VIC so pick-up is fine and I'm also happy to meet buyers somewhere. I'm also more than happy to post so hit me up for postage costs for the parts you're interested in I'm not at home at the moment but can/will post pics up or happy to send photos to emails and mobiles. 1: - RB26 head out of a R33 GTR - Head is in excellent condition, a little dirty but an acid bath would have it gleaming and brand new again - Dismantled from the block which had 65,xxx kms - Inlet side has been port matched, light polish and burrs removed - Valve springs, retainers, head studs etc. all included - No cams or valves - Polished Rocker covers <----------------- I'm actually pretty keen on keeping these but can adjust price if you don't want them This is perfect for anyone who needs a new head for their RB26 or to store for a rainy day or to even keep in the garage to build up. No cams also means that you can purchase any cam size you want to suit your application. Would also be perfect for anyone who wants to do a RB30/26 conversion as RB30 blocks can be had for around $150 (half the time I see them get given away for a 6-pack of Jimmys lol) I was planning on keeping this to slowly build up in the garage to go with my RB30 bottom-end, but shift in circumstances have forced me to sell and stick with my RB25 instead Price: $600 ONO 2: - RB25 Pink label AFM - Excellent condition, mesh still intact - Works perfectly and was only removed due to upgrade to Z32 - Every air filter clean I would give the AFM hot-wire a spray with Electrical Contact Cleaner so it's definetley been well looked after - I believe these can be used on RB26s as an upgrade?? Price: $120 ONO 3: - 370cc RB25 purple top injectors - Worked perfectly fine and was only removed to fit 480cc injectors - Can arrange to have them flow-tested and cleaned if you want (I think it's around $200 or so when I got my 480cc cleaned and tested) Price: $120 ONO 4: - Standard R33 GTS-t fuel pump - Working perfectly and only removed to fit a Bosch 040 - Comes with the little sock attachment on the end (AWESOME!!!) - Good for the RB25DE non-turbo fellas looking to get a cheap fuel pump capable of some near stock boost level - Also good for the RB25DET turbo fellas who need a good fuel pump to help narrow down fuel issues (got a car that runs lean? Not sure if your fuel pump playing up? THEN BUY THIS AND GET IT OUTTA MY FACE AND KNOW FOR SURE IF IT'S YOUR FUEL PUMP THAT'S DYING!! ) Price: $50 ONO 5: - Genuine HKS mushroom air pod filter - Excellent condition - No foam chunks missing, all intact - It's green - Will also chuck in a pipe so that you can fit it onto your AFM. If I can find a silicon joiner too, then I'll chuck that in as well Now you can justify having HKS stickers on your car because if you buy this filter, you will ACTUALLY have HKS parts on your car. JDM YO!! Price: $100 ONO I also have a bench press/gym set for sale but it's in the non-car related section. Check it out and get buff I'm looking for these things in particular and I'm sure we can come to an agreement if you want to trade parts for parts or with cash adjustment: - Plazmaman RB25 intake plenum - Power FC EL hand controller (the new version that works with all models of PFC) - If I need anything else, I'll add it to the list. Or just throw me offers of what you got, but do prefer cash or the above two though. PM me, reply here or contact me on 0402 732 860. Oh, and don't be afraid to throw me some offers Cheerrs.
  8. Have you got a contact number? I am interested in them.
  9. Yep, what PM-R33 said above
  10. PSI Parts, I'm very interested in the clear lens provided they're a reasonable price. If going the plastic route is cheaper, then so be it So my only criteria is that it's affordable and has the same pattern as the standard orange lens so it doesn't look like a flat tacky piece of perspex chucked on lol if you can meet the above two criterias, then I'm down for a pair
  11. Hahaha well I'm glad has similar experiences and I'm just freaking out over nothing But what would you quantify as "few water droplets"? Reason being my whole exhaust diameter has droplets (i.e there's droplets all the way around on the inside walls)
  12. Thanks for the advice fellas. I'm hoping it really is just some condensation and nothing major Cheers,
  13. Hey mate, thanks for the reply. The water droplets only appeared in large quantities after I installed the new turbo and the droplets/steam appear whenever the car is started Nah, it's clear so definelty water. At first I thought it was a blown head gasket (if it is, then FML!!!), but under the radiator cap and under the oil filler cap I can't see any cross contamination or any milky substance so what could it be that's causing the all-the-sudden condensation? Could it be the water lines to the turbo wernt done propery and it's going out the exhaust or something?
  14. Hey, I just have a concern with my S2 R33 GTS-t which I thought was normal at first but is now making me worried. Whenever I start my car, I notice after a minute or two that water droplets form inside the exhaust. After around 30secs or so, there is white smoke/steam which is emitted from the exhaust, which I presume is the water droplets evaporating. I know it's definitely water forming in there as when I run my finger around inside the tip, I can see it's clearly water. This isn't limited to just cold morning start ups, but anytime during the day whenever I start the car. I recently had a new Hypergear ATR43G3 fitted and is almost fully tuned (tuner ran out of time) but if it's any help, after the turbo was fitted the car was overheating but the system got bled so it runs ok now. They did use a fair bit of tap water though as they ended up spraying my coolant everywhere so I'll be getting a full cooling system flush soon. Any ideas or am I being paranoid? Cheers.
  15. Thanks for that Webber, that was exactly the diagram I was looking for as it shows the AFM orientation
  16. Excellent, thanks for the reply. Is there anyway I can check using a multimeter or something to mke sure it's right?
  17. Hey, I just wired up my new Z32 AFM and it came with the Bosch plug, which isn't a drama as I'm handy with a soldering iron anyway. I was following the tute in the Tutorial/DIY section and needed confirmation what I've done is correct as my Bosch plug had numbers on it and on the AFM itself, it has "A", "B", "C".... etc. http://www.skylinesa...-fit-a-z32-afm/ So going by my photo, does it all look like it's wire correct? Yellow: Signal wire (connects to Orange w/ blue wire) <----------------- AFM pin "B" Blue: 12v ground (connects to White w/ blue) <-------------------- AFM pin "C" Blue: Signal ground (connects to White w/ blue) <------------------ AFM pin "D" Red: 12v power (connects to Black w/ white) <------------------ AFM pin "E" Note the numbers on the plug are what threw me off as it goes from 1 through to 6, from right to left Cheers.
  18. No dramas mate, I'll try using a hammer but if that doesn't work, I'll trim it Hey Scott, the intake is going excellent so far and as far as lining it all up, it MIGHT be too long so I'm gonna cut around 10mm off the AFM end. Why "might"? Because the guys who installed it for me were dodgy as hell and instead of making sure everything fits nicely, they instead jammed everything in place, distorting all my silicon joiners. They more or less FORCED everything to fit and as such, even my catch can which is in the vicinity doesn't even sit right anymore So now I'm going to have to spend all day tomorrow pulling everything apart so I can have peace of mind knowing it's all fitted properly. But anyway, the tune is on Monday so when I get the car back, I'll definetly post results up and I'll def post pics of the intake pipe up But until then, to anyone who's reading, if you're after a custom intake pipe, hit Scott up as the work he does is EXCELLENT and if I ever needed another pipe, I'd be going to him
  19. Ahh ok then, but they're using an aftermarket manifold I assume? I'm still running the stock manifold and wasn't sure if there would be too much heat being radiated if I removed it or if it would damage the turbo itself with the direct contact of the heatshield if I left it one. What about if I trim the part of the heatshield that is touching? So only a small section of the exhaust manifold is exposed from where I trimmed it?
  20. Hey, just bolted up my ATR43G3 .82 yesterday but my compressor housing is actually touching the exhaust manifold heat shield so I was wondering if it's ok to remove the heat shield and leave it off in order to give it clearance? Or should I just leave it on as it is and not worry about the two touching? Cheers.
  21. Sorry to revive an old thread but my questions is still relevant so saves making a new thread. Anyway, my car is going in to the tuners on Monday to get tuned with my new turbo, injectors and Z32 AFM but since I know how to wire the Z32 AFM into my S2 RB25det (thanks to this tutorial), I figured I could save myself some money by installig it myself.. I doubt I'll be able to solder and re-wire it outside of the tuner and getting them to push the car in, and me wiring and installing it at home before getting to the tuners means my car won't run so I can't get there lol SO, my question is, am I able to wire some female connectors into the wires into the loom from my RB25 plug going into the ECU and some male connectors onto the other end of my wires into the plug, and then wire some male connectors onto the wires of the Z32 plug? Essentially, it just means I can drive the car down to the tuners and when he's ready to tune, I can just unplug the old AFM and plug in the Z32 AFM. Here's what I mean: ------[> is the male connector }------ is the female connector connecting to the standard loom so before I go to the tuners: RB25 AFM--------Standard RB25 AFM plug------------[> }------------------to the ECU When I get to the tuners: Z32 AFM----------Z32 AFM plug ---------------[> }----------------- to the ECU Will the connectors I put in place affect the voltages and the signals being sent to the ECU?
  22. Yep, sure does come with an internal gate. T28BB is the ball-bearing version found in the S15s (bothADM and JDM models)
  23. Ok, Logicar charge $50 per injector for flow test and clean He wasn't offering just a flow test and said it all gets done at the same time anyway I also called up Injectors Online (Springvale) and the guy on the phone was really helpful and their pricing wasn't too bad either, ableit abit confusing lol $44 per injector to get tested $33 per injector to get it reconditioned (i.e new seals, O-rings, caps etc.) The prices aren't compounded so IF they were tested and were fine, then it's $44 per injector. BUT if tested and require servicing, the $44 is dropped and only the $33 applies. It's a bit confusing but I'm gonna drop in and double check the figure before I leave it with them The customer service is good enough so I'll drop them off and see what's the go.
