Just curious how much creatine people are taking and for how long? I've been taking Max's Creatine for about 3-4 months now with some positive gains, but feel like I may be holding too much water around the waist area? On days I train, I take 10g (5g in pre-workout shake and 5g post-workout shake) and on off days, I take just 5g. Is that overdoing it?

Nothing really new, just getting the car out and about to enjoy the weather Melbourne has been experiencing lately. First off, the ECM cruise: And finally, helping out a mate for his wedding: -

The ride on the bags are great! It has bags both front and rear and as long as you keep the pressures in them sensible, you couldn't pick them from a coilover setup. Having said that, it all comes down to the quality of the setup you go for also. I didn't get much change from $7k drive-in drive-out on my bag setup but totally worth it. I've had lowered kings with monroe shocks, coilovers and then finally bags and can confidently say there hasn't been a noticable compromise in handling or comfort. I haven't attacked any hills of late but with spirited driving through corners, the car feels jsut as predictable as when it was on coilovers. Thanks mate! Yeah, they're pushing around 1800kg so you can definetly feel the weight. But throw in a windy day and that extra weight is a blessing haha I was pushing a fraction over 300rwkw on 98, so that was good fun also as much as I love the sound of the 33 on gate, I'm totally addicted to the lumpy idle and supercharger whine in the SS-V now haha -
Cheers. In saying that, they're both power productive in their own way so wanting to know can they co-exist in an engien tuned for them?

Anyone know if running E85 and Water Meth Injection together is possible and what sort of results there are as opposed to just E85?

Thanks mate, that was when it had just had the VCM-5 228/232 cam in it Yeah, the black G8 wheels were heavy as shit! So glad I moved on from them now, as everyone is rolling on G8s now. I never have nor will plan on taking the car down an airport runway so for the time being, the mirrors will stay haha LMAO! My engine/transmission combo in a 1400kg skyline would be amazing. Only problem is, you won't be able to pull the 400rwkw figure without the cam unfortunatley, as the standard cam in the L98 isn't the most suited for boosted applications. Don't get me wrong, the stock cam will still do a stellar job, just wouldn't be optimum. -
I think he's talking about the actual badge that hides the keyhole for the boot. At least that's what I think he's asking about, judging by his thread title

QFM pads? I rate them pretty average based on my own personal experiences. Stopping power isn't bad but so friggin' noisy for street use!

Kinda something like this, minue the vent facing the front: Scroll about a third of the way down the page, the right hand side where the bonnet is still in white gel coat. Cover up the two forward vents and jsut have the side extraction vent on the bonnet bulge: http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/holden.html -

Yeah, I know. The only other alternative I'm thinking is somehow mould/integrate a small duct or small vents into the bonnet. Something nice and subtle that hints at the Jap-import influence that's already on the car. -

Yep, defiently agree that the vector vents on the later model HSVs looks the goods but don't think they can be grafted on easily to my bonnet. Not a huge fan of the G8 bonnet on anything other than a G8, mainly beacause of the front bar. Dunno, might ahve to playa round on photoshop and see what works haha -

^^^ Yep, that's pretty much what I was thinking. On one hand, I love it cos it makes it look seamless and smooth, but on the other hand, I'm afraid it might make it look worse -

Thanks mate. The engine covers are part of the Harrop Stealth Supercharger setup but I wrapped it in matte black and made a couple of plates that covered the emobossed "supercharged" cast on the side covers. Otherwise, it normally looks like this: http://www.kpmauto.com/Portals/0/Stealth_Force_Installed_HR_1.jpg Nah, not able to run an OTR as the angle that throttle body runs off makes it near impossible to make an adaptor to fit an OTR. Can't remember the offsets off the top of my head as they were custom ordered after I did months of research on the US G8 forums. Fronts: 20x8.5 (225/30/20) Rears: 20x10 (245/30/20) -
In other news, I reactivated me facebook account after 2 years. It's different now

You did not mention oweing me a 10-second car, so your quote is invalid

Thanks mate, I'm thinking of getting the scoop moulded onto the bonnet so it looks seamless and not "stuck-on". Not sure yet though, as I haven't any other bonnet designs that I like The car is on airbags all round so when I notice a big dip, I just raise it up on the fly Wouldn't mind taking it down to the drags to see what numbers it coughs up but other than that, pure streeter. Yeah, still the stock heads as the L98 heads flow much better than the LS1 and LS2 heads. Essentially the same heads as the LS3 (square port > cathedral port), so for $2k you're getting a Higgins CNC head bu the gains are minimal for the bucks laid. Funny you mention that the 6l80e is still holding on, as the tuner has dialled back on the tune somewhat as he doesn't have full trust in the box holding together northwards of 400rwkw. We're confident 450rwkw is there for the taking but whether or not the box holds up is another story, and I'm not keen on going down the path of a T400, so I'm just sitting content on 400rwkw for now -
Considering a month off, only dropping 10kg is not too shabby at all! I missed the week and dropped 5kg I normally train by myself so I can only rely on what the mirror is showing me but I guess it is possible that I'm actually bending in more than I can see. thanks for the tip, I'll give the wider stance a go
-
That's rough as! Hopefully your first sesh back was a good one On a seperate note, I squat ass-to-grass but find every now and then, I feel a bit of pressure around my knees. I have checked my form and knees aren't bending in but not sure if this is normal? I feel like I can lift more if not for the pressure build up around the knee area when squatting. Not painful, just uncomfortable

Hey, I've been meaning to do one of these build threads for the past couple of years but haven't gotten around to it till about now, so here we go...... also, if you are over hearing about my R33, then best skip the first half as that's where my story starts. Also, don't think I'll find much love for a V8 on a Skylines forum but YOLO!!! Brought the SS-V back in 2012 I think (could be 2011, can't remember), stock as a rock as a daily for when I used to have my R33 GTS-t. Enjoyed both of the cars for about a year and a half before deciding to sell the R33, as I would only have the chance to take it out a few weekends a month and since it was costing me $2k in insurance and $700 in rego, it didn't make financial sense to keep the R33 in the garage for 98% of the year. For anyone interested, here are a few pics of the ol' R33: And even though old, one of my fave pics of when the two were together: Anyway, here's what most people are here for. The SS-V was your basic run-of-the mill 6L L98, with the A6 transmission. Enjoyed it stock for all of 3-months before I decided it didn't sound enough like a V8, so on went a 3" catback exhaust with Varex mufflers and an Airhammer intake..... Then came a new set of wheels. Then came the king springs (SSL). Then came the coilovers. Then came the front+rear airbag suspension. Then came another set of new wheels. Then came the cam. Then came the supercharger. And here we are today! Mechanical: - Harrop 2300 Stealth Force Supercharger running 10psi via. smaller pulley - VCM-5 228/232 114LSA camshaft - Dual valve springs, retainers, lifters etc. - Bosch 1150cc injectors - Harrop ZL-1 fuel pump - 1 7/8 4-1 extractors - 100-cell hi-flow cats - Twin 3" catback w/ Varex mufflers - 3.45 LSD Power: 400rwkw @ 10psi Suspension: - Air Ride front airbag struts - Shockwave rear airbag struts - Twin Viar compressors - 8-gallon tank - Dakota Digital Electronic Ride Height ECU w/ individual bag control - AirRide Tech. Red Valves Brakes: - RDA grooved and dimpled rotors F+R - QFM pads Transmission: - Stock + tune and calibration Interior: - Boost, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure gauges - OBDII scanner/gauge - Carbon-wrapped trims Exterior: - 20" BBS LM reps (staggered) - Walkinshaw bonnet scoop - Senator rear bobtail spoiler - Front bar wrapped Thanks to Eye Candy for a couple of the pics: Got a few more pics with the old gloss black G8 wheels but don't want to bore everyone with pics overload haha Cheers.
