  1. He pulled the EBC out and I haven't found the time to get the car on the dyno to get it all setup, so I'm just after the stock settings for now. After scouring various topics, I came back with these: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wa...+stock+solenoid http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fa...+stock+solenoid Sorry I haven't got any pics of mine yet, but the plumbing for the top soleoid nipple goes to the wastgate actuator and the bottom solenoid nipple goes to the inlet. There's no T-piece at all and the two lines are independent to each other. Bear in mind I'm running a blitz front mount. Cheers.
  2. I recently brought a S2 R33 GTS-T and it came with an electronic boost controller. Problem is, the seller needed to take it off for a roady, so he's left all the wiring and solenoids in there ready to hook back up. In the mean time, he connected up the plumbing back to the stock solenoid but I'm having issues with the car running too much boost and having boost cut kick in (rich and retard is what I found when I used the search function). I'm having a hunch that he did a dodge job of hooking it all back up, and in fact the solenoid isnt doing its job properly now. So was wondering if people could post picces of how their stock solenoid is plumbed cos think he might of did it wrong. Ill post pics of what mine looks like later tonight so maybe a few of the gurus around here can diagnose it for me. Cheers.

    Strippers. LOL
  4. Getting big kilowatts out of almost any car is going to cost big $$$. The difference is how much faster you can make it with the least amount of $$$ thats the real difference. Hence, why the skyline is better

  6. +1 Totally agree. I don't mind a V8 (VX Clubbys especially) but I'm a import fan through and through. Wouldn't have it any other way. I used to think HSVs were the shizzle and Jap imports were just for looking good until a ride in a mates T-K R33 GTS-T converted me for good. The way it got around the corners and the way it just launched from the lights. Boost junkie ever since. I think with V8 drivers (and lovers) is that they've never experienced a turbo import before, and are prejudice and quick to jump to the "fact" that "Jap = Crap". One of my mates (he's a bit of bogan LOL) used to hang shit on my other mate for driving a S15 Silvia (Jap-spec), until we were at Maccas one night and he would not shut up about it saying shit like "Look at you boys with your toy cars", "Get a real car.... like that *points at a BA XR8*" and "Nice car. Do they make them for men?". So, my mate just told him to get in and took him for a spin. 10 minutes later, they both get out of the car and my bogan mate is like "THESE CARS ARE F*CKEN SICK!!!!" SO.... I reckon we should have an Turbo Awareness Week, where everyone around Australia with a turbo import should pick up as many V8-diehards and take them for a hoon. But having said that, most V8 drivers (and lovers) that I know of have deep respect for the R32 GT-R "Godzilla" anyway. Maybe just a matter of time till enough of them get into an import and experience it first hand then will this whole "V8 vs Jap turbo" thing will end.
  7. Yeah, its alright. Never really packed so its good for a wash when I'm in a hurry, whereas the Narre one I usually go to is packed. Otherwise, if I'm at school I go to the Yarraville/Footscray one.
  8. LOL It sure is. You local? I sometimes work in Pakky as a waiter, but live in Bezza (Berwick). BAAAHAHAHA Touche.
  9. Serious? Thanks mate. Always loved the Skylines, always will. Give me a choice of a Lambo or a R34 GT-R, then I can guarantee I'll walk away with the keys of the GT-R. Yes, I am a freak. LOL LOL Yeah, I say virtually no job cos drug dealing and mugging aernt considered legitament jobs. BAAAHAHAHHA Nah, jokes. I just get a few bucks here and there from parents and from helping out as a waiter. Thanks mate. Glad you like it. The R32 in your avatar looks pretty good..... wanna swap? LOL used to hate Lancers, but after searching around, I found that they were pretty good for what they are, especially the later models (CG, CH). Its still practical, but nowhere near as practical as what it would of been from the factory (subs, amps, PS2 etc). That's why I have a daily VN Commodore to thrash and to park at the train station when school rolls around again.
  10. Hey, hows it going? The name's Andrew and I'm 19. Here's a bit of background about my obsession with Skylines. First off, I'll start by saying I DON'T currently own a skyline but I'm a huge fan of them ever since I first saw one (back when R32 and R33 GTS-Ts was a very rare sight on the roads). The sexy looks they had got me intrested, but it was a ride in a mates Tommy Kaira R33 GTS-T (shame it was auto) that I started to relise that these things are the perfect package: show AND go. Needless to say, I have wanted one in my driveway ever since. Having cousins and mates who owned turbo imports, they pretty much advised me to steer away from a turbo import cos for my age (and virtually no job), maintaining one is going to be the biggest cost killer. If you cant afford to keep it, then it doesnt matter if you can afford to buy it. So that's how I ended up with the CH Lancer I have now. Perfect for now (except the street cred, good looks, power etc of a Skyline of course) until I get off my P's and get a real job. Also gives me time to save up for either a R32 GT-R or a R34 GT-T coupe and the mods. Found out about SAU ages ago, but didn't sign up cos I knew I was still way off from owning one, but in a few years I hope to own one, so I thought now would be a good time to sign up and learn about the pitfalls associated with one so when it comes time to buy, my research is properly done. I posted some pics of the car I have now (few things have changed since these photos, but looks basically like that), so if you see me, give us a yell. If theres a members ride section (for non-skylines) then I would post them there with some other pics of the interior etc.. Cheers.
