  8. Ahhh FECK! I forgot dude! Shiiieeetttt, I'll check the poddy tonight man. I might be swinging past Cranny on Sunday if that helps?
  9. LMAO!
  10. Thanks Dave, I'll have a look for him
  11. Ahhh feck!
  12. Is he a member here who drives an EK?
  13. Hai guys, CBF joining civic forum but anyone have expereince with EK civics and rims? Looking at buying some rims for the missus's EK Civic, probably either 15s or 16s. Not looking for poke or anything, just something that sits tight without tyre stretch and headaches like camber.
  14. You boys are NOT making the decision any easier hahaha Lumpy cam in a V8 with screamer? Should sound ok I guess haha Half? No way! Customs and freight will ream me to about the same price anyway won't it? Also, I'm a f**king noob, I can't install that shit haha
  15. I'm just assuming it's going to be way too much of a headf**k, especially with the crossover pipe from cylinder bank 1 to cylinder bank 2. Not doubting Scotty's skills, just trying to save him from a major headache haha Yep, they're the eaton-style chargers and not the centrifugal ones (fake turbos I call them hahaha). I'm looking at the Magnuson MP2300 charger with 60lb injectors so I guess the $6k kit would be the ones with no injectors and using the smaller MP1900 charger
  16. Hahaha, yeah that's the only thing that is making me think supercharging, cos even though I LOVE the violent-ness of a car coming hard on boost with a turbo, the crappy commo would struggle to put that power to the ground I rec kon, even though it weighs almost 2 tons
  17. Hmmm true true. I would probably be swinging towards charging cos I've had a turbo 6 before, and the car is currently cammed so can say I've had a cammed V8, so I guess the only thing I haven't tried is a supercahrged 8. Hmmm.... Hahaha you keep saying that! But how much can Scotty do it for though? A GT4088 is about $2.3k on its own, plus a decent cooler core probably about $600, external wastegate about $800, BOZ about $400. Add in lines, fittings, piping, tuning and labour and I reckon I'll be close to nuding the $10k mark anyway That'd be asking for an ass reaming LOL Hahahahahhahah! You better believe it!
  18. Yeah basically! Umm... both? hahaha To be honest, I'm not even 100% sure what I want, all I know is I have boost withdrawl symptons ever since selling my 33 and in search of my next boost hit
  19. Going by that logic, I'll have a water-to-air intercooler installed, as well as the front mount air-to-air intercooler installed with the exhaust manfiolds, but no turbo and no sueprcharger. LOL!
  20. Bahahaha! Nice thinking Grant! But unfortunately not to be. Both will give similar results, with the supercharger giving between 350-400rwkw but with bucketloads of torque on tap from basically anywhere in rev range. Single turbo (either a Garrett GT4088 or equivilant Turbonetics turbo) will be pushing around that ballpark too, but more likely to touch and/or topple the 400rwkw mark. Being on a 6L, can't imagine a lot of lag but won't have the level or response the charger has.
  21. Have been quoted $10k to supercharge my SS-V or $10k to single turbo it. Thoughts?
  22. Cool cool, sounds good. Thanks!
  23. Tangcla you got PM Might be a dumb question but if the weather is shithouse, does that mean the car will be photgraphed in a dirty state? I've only ever done photoshoots based on clear weather to ensure the car stays clean.
  24. Too easy bud, I'll get onto it later tonight when I get home
  25. Ummm, not sure bud, I can find out what size it is tonight and text ya if you want? And depends what time Friday, cos I don't finish work till about 4pm
