In my cusco 1.5way (rear) diff i used castrol SAF-XA which was reccomended to me by someone who installs a lot of cusco diffs. Mine is pretty noisy but i think that has more to do with how it was installed, unfortunately i didnt get this guy to install it as he was busy at the time.

I was just saying that the PFC started heaps better than my wolf3d. Xspeed were telling me they would get a much better result tuning the pfc on my car than the wolf. I also wanted to know why people think the d-jetro is only good for WOT on a drag car?? What are there reasons behind this logic?

From what i was told today Ants GTR running Wolf3d had afew issues he couldnt sort out, so he switched to pfc d-jetro, supposedly it is the reason it now has 800hp instead of 680 odd. This was at xspeed who suggested i switch from wolf to pfc d-jetro on my s14 as im havving issues with it atm. Ant thought that it would give a better tune and start much better, as mine is a dog to start and idle with a/c + fan on etc. I dont know if i want to fork out near on $2k for another computer when i already have 1. I havent heard experiance's from many people running d-jetro yet and am interested to see if it will be worthwhile on a motor thats already done 178000kms. Adam

I Currently have a wolf3d in my s14 and its a bit of a dog to start and xspeed reccomended this ecu to me, that gtr cranked over strait away when cold this morning. Why wouldn't you put it on a daily driver? Supposedly it will be able to be tuned much better than the wolf according to them. But for the cost im not sure at the moment. Anyone got any experiance with the product??

They are perfectly legal to use and own, been pulled over many a time with mine up. They also pick up road works, crew signals and emergency vehicle signals. They should be allowed in other states if u ask me as they are advising u of upcoming dangers. I just bought an s14 over an r32, the weight of the line would be my only concern, but insurance for an s14 is a bitch, i was lucky enough to go through wesfarmers. but they only do home and contents and a few cars as a bundle.

A better alternative would certainly be community service, no jail that costs me $$ in tax no confiscation thats just a breach of our rights in my views untill cars become an illegal item. I found s14's were more expensive to insure even not being an import. Good luck finding a good condition r32 interior anyway they dont exist every single interior i have seen has had some kind of flaw. R32 will never b as quick as an s14 with the same mods. Im in the same position as you and have decided on an s14 but only bcoz its newer and i cant find any good condition r32's. Either way they are a good car, but spending more on a newer car is probably the smarter way to go. As well as parts for s14s and sr's being more plentiful.
