  1. Pressure test the cooling system to see if any hoses are dying, thats a must also the turbo play in that is not good.
  2. Looks to bright but would have to see it in real life. Not real ricey to me, but I'd want woodgrain Leave it if u like it or make it darker
  3. Mates carby jet was blocked due to bad fuel in his 351 xe falcon ,and we were stuck on side of the road trying to fix it, and some bright spark drives past and says "buy a ford" I mean what else looks like an xe falcon thats not a ford??
  4. R32 GTST very good condition 1993 type-M with 84k kms (real or not im not sure but bought it at 80k kms) You have only done 4thou K's on it why would you think about selling it?? Tell me if you dont sell it btw as im also looking for an 32 of those specs.
  5. What is the interior like?? thats a big thing for me coz i hate the shit tweed looking interior in the newer s13's. Most ppl are looking at about 12-14 depending on where you are? What brakes are on it? and diff etc, was it originally a K's? I will take it off your hands for cheap car looks nice though i'm not a fan of the veilside kit. If your in Perth i would be very interested.
  6. Exactly what i am looking for!!! but dammit 2 months to soon. Looks like a very neat car. I jus hope u have it in a month or so, but im sure u dont.
  7. Got somone looking at the silvia can anyone else offer any advice, meggala u said the brakes were not that crash hot, what would be an easy swap??
  8. Yeah i always wondered why walky's had the inlet at the back of the bonnet scoop. Kool now i know. A few other cars have it as well before the walky did, and there was a serious amount of time and $$ spent on that bodykit design, its still supposed to be an extremely effective bodykit even compared to the v8 supercars of now.
  9. Yeah thanks heaps for that , now i just need to sell the silvia.
  10. Hi Maybe Meggala can answer this, How hard is it to get parts for cefiro's have you had any troubles? Does anyone know how long was the production run on them was, and since they share motors with the r32 and silvia are most of the susp, brakes stud pattern etc the same? Also are all the interiors in cefiro's the same shitty tweed fabric in a lot of silvia's? I cant stand that rough tweed c&@p, i was lucky enough to get a decent fabric one in mine . Sorry about all the questions but I'm looking at importing one in a couple of months that or a CA powered silvia. Thanks in advance people
  11. A workshop did a test for HPI they flowed tested them and came to the conclusion that at 30psi they could flow 100hp more airflow according to them. But at 25psi you may get 50-60 hp out of it. Considering head works not cheap it'd b happy with what ur car has, but its not my car, (unfortunately).
  12. So if i want to import an 1988 S13 what do i need to do exactly??? How do i get an import approval is my main question? Also if its modified will they give me a hard time when i try and get it registered? I know u need child seat harnesses etc. Im in WA btw. Thanks Any manual conv cefiro's megalla??
  13. Nah i seriously doubt that that is anywhere near the truth have a look on any silvia website or forum and it has never been mentioned once (untill i mention it). The motors are identical the weight may be a lil different, supposedly the 180 has a slightly better weight distribution but both motors im sure are the same.
  14. Wait a little while and bugger of the euro cars they cost to much get a chaser!! you may pay more for insurance but its still fast an 4 door and a quality car. I'd still love an M3 oh so lovely
  15. To Quote Pentae ""I think a better comparison would be a stock s13 sr20det (silvia shape.. 20kw more power than the 180sx) with an r32 gtst. Soon to be added: - Air Pod - Oversized FMIC - Apexi Super AVC-R Boost Controller/Management System Overall Mod Cost: 3.3k Chapman & Chapman, a highly respected performance shop in Brisbane says I should expect high 12's after these modifications. How much money do you have to spend on a GTST to get it into the 12s?"" ##Sorry the quote thigo didnt work for some reason so i just edited it ## The silvia has no more power what so ever than the 180!!! exactly the same motor, unless you have the slightly uprated blacktop 180sx I wouldnt consider doing this to a car that already has an SR20 in it. It throws weight distribution out big time unless u have 60kg of stereo equip in the boot. Coilovers will help the prob but it will still be out with more weight over the front wheels than back. Which is really not what a silvia needs as its tail happy as it is. The sr is also cheaper maintanence wise (less cylinders) and has been supplied locally. Its also the same capacity as an RB20, but the downside is cost!! Add some really good tyres to you mods list and you may be able to get high 12's
  16. All i can say is its not worth it. and i will throw a pink fit if they ban them in WA
  17. Aussie driftcars would be MAD they'd sound great, better than an SR or RB anyway Someone will have to get an xr6 turbo ute out drifting no doubt. Xr and ss utes are made for drift just need the suspension setup!
  18. Ohh yeah Will baby u look so buff LOL u boys have probs. She is a bit of a huney though. I heard tears of the sun is actually pretty crap and to unbelievable. I dont know though i havent seen it.
  19. Its just "craft wood" like saw dust Pressed with glue added. Most of the cheap desks and cabinets around are made out of it so are sub box's. Similar to chipboard except smaller particles. Just go to bunnings an have a look, its pretty heavy though for a parcel shelf. And you wouldnt make the stuff either.
  20. I think we should "COMPLAIN LOUDLY" I was wanting my r32 here in Jan! But to stem the flow of cars entering the country an cutting the prices of second hand aussie POS cars we are getting raped by the government again by the looks of things. This is garbage its time the aussie car market had to compete with the world and stand on its own to feet. Instead the industry is in the pocket of all the people in that matter. We somehow need to be heard! Same with the hooning laws in WA Grrrr Bitching complete
  21. Schmick looking job mate but i dont think id like my cooler pipes running under the cooler so close the the ground, specially with all the speed bumps an shit roads in WA. Did u do all the welding yourself?? Some more pics (in focus) would be cool to. Congrats on da job.
  22. Yeah buy an s13 or r32-33 and play with that and hope you dont kill yourself. Put the rest on a unit and rent it out, if u can save 70k then u can afford to keep paying it off to im assuming, and then keep expanding . 1 vital point CARS DEPRECIATE, realestate in general doesnt. just my 2c an what id do, but i dont have that kinda $$ so no investment for me just an r32.
  23. They have the same engines yes but the pulsar is detuned for Aus. The SR silvia isnt faster than the CA iv driven both but if you rebuilt the CA and remapped it with a higher rev limiter it'd go harder and atm its quite easy to get a CA, bcoz of the 15 yr rule. The SR silvia has 103kw and the CA has 97 obviously quoted from the factory. The SSS i think has 93 If you want any info on silvia's look at the silviawa website under n?a performance or the silvia aus site. Both have great info. Only advantage the pulsar has is 4 doors, but it is also fwd and prob weighs a lil more. Its also cheaper to mod an s13. In the end find a car for the right price in good condition.
  24. Sorry RB20 gettin rid of the sil soon chasing a gts-t type m and want to pull about 225rwkw maybe more depending on funds. Hmm maybe scouring the wreckers isnt a bad move then as long as you know how to set it up, did u have ne probs get all the wiring etc?? I know where there is a couple of guys in wa that do remapping mite see about prices.
