  1. Have you sorted out your problem?? I have the exact same one. Thanks and let me know.
  2. Anyone have any ideas? Very weak spark for some reason. Only partial combustion. Thanks
  3. I have the exact same problem on my build. Your timing belt jumped some teeth?
  4. The CAS is good. Ive tried 3 ecus. All the wiring is good. Gonna try another ignitor on wednesday. The ignitor is grounded by the little ground wire correct? It doesent actually need to be grounded its self does it?
  5. just checked the cas and its good. im gonna try another ignitor and see whats up.
  6. Forgot to add that the 1.1v i am measuring on the input side of the ignitor are when the ignition is ON and not cranking. wtf?
  7. I tested the voltages that were going into the ignitor from the ecu.. The fsm says 0.1-0.3v on the input side of the ignitor, and 7-9v on the output. Both when engine is running, but keep in mind all i can do is crank. #1 33mv (something small) #2 1.1v #3 1.1v #4 1.0v #5 (something small) #6 0.75v There was a very very small spark on #2, #3, and #4. Also the voltages from the output side of the ignitor were no where near 7-9v, they were smaller than the input voltages. A little confused with this as teh ecu is seems to be sending too much voltage and the ignitor isnt doing ****.
  8. The plugs and coils are good. Ill have to check the ignitor.
  9. The ecu is tuned to run an rb25. Its an r33 rb25. Using the rb20 wiring harness and ignitor. They are splitfire coilpacks which work for r32 or r33s. I am getting a very small spark on #2 and #3 like i said. I did just move the battery to the trunk, so i tried running the ground wire all the way up to the engine instead of grounding it in the trunk.. no difference. Any ideas?
  10. Ok. If it is, what else can i try?
  11. Hey guys, I just finished an rb25 swap into an r32. R32 wiring and r32ecu for the rb25, rb20 ignitor pack, gtr injectors with resistor pack. I have fuel in all cylinders, but only a weak spark on #2 and #3, so spark anywhere else. Any ideas as what the problem could be? Thanks!
  12. Did you figure out the problem?
  13. You are correct BHDave! Thats for the knowledge. I guess i can stop frying ecus now . Also, only my first 2 injectors are working. All have power, but just the first 2 open and close. I connected one of the non-firing injectors to a firing injectors plug, and it still didnt work. Is there a test i can perform on the injectors or a way to free them up if they are stuck? Thanks guys.
  14. Its an r33 rb25 with vvt. Splitfire coil packs. What do you mean it wont work if just plugged in? It clips into the rb20 wiring harness fine, no additional wiring is needed. Could improper wiring of the injector resistor do this?
  15. Hey Guys, I just finished a full build on an r33 rb25 in swapped it into my r32. Im using the complete rb20 wiring harness, rb26 injectors with the injector resistor, and an rb25 ignitor or power transistor. Whenever i crank it to try and start it for the first time, my ecu(rb20ecu chipped for rb25) fries a couple resistors inside of it. Ive heard that the rb25 ignitor will not work with the rb20 wiring harness. I have also had no spark when cranking the engine, but all the ignition coils have power. Can anyone give me some hints or help in the right direction? Thanks alot!
