Your looking for the wrong ppl, what you will find is a typical wanker that will take you for a cruise down princess hwy and not show the true situation You want to join in illegal racing lol? if you want meet gen ppl look into the sau events speak there buddy, but don't come uninvited with cameras etc and speak to the moderators/ club president, otherwise you will be asked to leave

I went to it in the end, was a massive turn out and really well organised event! most of the cars where aussie drag cars but it was still really good to attend. Someone put a lot of effort into making this event, so those who didn't attend should at least jump on the site previously mentioned and show your support and sign the forms. It was nice to see a legal meet up and getting large companies like shannons etc behind this iniatitive! even the police where directing traffic on the way out. There was this one s13 sooo low that i could tell they all wanted to do an "inspection"- full drift spec, cage, guages and stripped lol but they police didn't stop anyone and seemed to be behind the idea! Btw is the owner of the 4 door 32 on here? it was the only skyline there and i must say the mods were tasteful!

yer i reckon that i will go, just parking will be an issue- and i hope they don't set up "random vechile inspections" there lol

I mean when i look at my application i think that spitfire may to over kill for my purpose. I will look into it and make a decision shortly. The best feedback is from user rather than saleman/ company, so i value this greatly. Thank you

i was hoping that someone can give me some feedback as what is good brand for replacement coil packs- i have ocational hesitation on take off and i have swapped them with second hand OEM ones, but really i'm pretty sure i will buy new ones shortly as this is really common on all skylines! Apart from SPITFIRE is there any other brands that are more reasonably priced?

Honestly don't touch a car without an RWC! either you or him will have to fix it, so it may as well be him. Don't bother getting a dodgey roady because you will have to fix it sooner or later and you will avoid the potential defect!

i personally think that if you get someone that is mechanically minded and has the particular model skyline it will be a much better inspection! otherwise i would be taking it to an import workshop to have a look at the car. I found that RACV didn't pick up typical skyline probz that i knew like the back of my hand when my mate was looking at an 33. I mean when its up on the hoist there is no need to measure the paint when you can see clearly any repair jobs, as long as you don't have some young apprentice checking it lol

i used laser allign in mitcham/ nunawading, near bunnings nunawading, the street before! Do a perfect job, no compliants plus really good guys there!

lol i agree ^^^, seriously how many times to ppl flog their cars that are a part of SAU, a lot actually do it safely in controlled enviornment but still occationally do it on the roads Everyone judges ppl on appears, time to man up and accept that a skyline does not equal gentleman or an grandma haha there always is a bad apple in every bunch, deal with it!

I also think that it would interesting to hear the full story behind this because the media would like to make a big fuss about everything, this would be gold for them- young hoon in a skyline. By no way, shape or form should anyone promote this behaviour (break his legs lol) but it might be blown out of poportion. It could've been someone that just got the P-plates and wanted to show his mates from school how "sick" he is and slightly slid the back out from first to second and stacked because he he is retart.

Hi guys not sure if this has been covered already (and yes I done a search). I'm looking at renewing my policy and think that I might be getting short changed possibly. Currently insured with just car and I want to see what are the competitors. Shannons didn't want to insure me because I am under 25 What are ppl paying for comp on a r33-t?

yer mate plus 1 U don't need to put an air box on if u don't have an intercooler, you can have one induction mod. Maybe try another place? But the BOV will have to come off.
