  1. Yeah, I always wonder that. Everytime I go down the goldy I expect to see my car driven off by some tourist.
  2. I've seen a number of members off here Sat nites and Thursdays out... If I'm allowed to say that?
  3. Wheel Revolutions at Slacks Creek are ok. Off Moss St.
  4. Well I havent seen a 4 anything other than a Z4.
  5. Seriously, just get the chip. Takes off the rev limit and boost cut too. So you can REALLY test the thing out. BTW I put first dibs on any parts
  6. http://www.bigdayout.com/documents/File/BD...heet_GCOAST.pdf WOO one week to go!!! I'm getting quite excited now!
  7. Well to get the correct driving position you need to do the following... #1 You put your foot BEHIND the peadles pull the seat forward until you have a slight bend in your leg. #2 You now adjust the back of the seat until you can flop your hand over the TOP of the wheel. Ie wrist sits on top of wheel, hand flops over. When you do this you need your back in the seat, not leaning forward. If you need to adjust the wheel position a little. There ya go! If your head is still hitting the roof make sure you have your seat wound all the way down. So most people on here will be sitting what they will feel really close and upright at first. But you do get used to it, it feels way better you will have more feel of the car etc. That and its safer.
  8. I also have a doughnut problem. But mine makes me fat.
  9. Also call Nissan. Sometimes they can get the new part for much the same price. Its at least worth the call.
  10. Maybe they crashed their Z4... So they put the badges on their 318i?
  11. I asked my dad. He said 'cats balls' around all the windows, a bobbing head dog/jesus doll, and as previously mentioned fluffy dice. Really, to get a good quality look you need to spend money and pay a pro to do it. Save your dosh and do it properly in a few years.
  12. Well I like all the tech stuff, its all fancy. But give me a car where its 100% down to the driver, and it does handle, does have a bit of poke, and does stop. It has to be enjoyable. That said, I think the MAIN thing a sports car needs is looks. If a sports car doesnt look like one it isnt, its just a big donk in something else. And good looks need flowing lines (which a number of sports cars dont have, they do tick every other box...) Flowing sleek lines where they dont just stop, and cross over. Where you can look at the car from any angle and see the same flowing line. If it doesnt have that, its a pointless car.
  13. Well personally I think they would reduce more accidents and make more money with tailgating cameras...
  14. Spotted a marron R33 with R32 GTR wheels at the confectonary warehouse. Was in the Boss's ML.
  15. Can I ask, whats the point of it? Seems like a cheap nasty version of an x-trail. Which really arent too bad, but I dunno about a smaller one with an even smaller engine...
  16. Is your car noisy tho? Im not saying his actions are right. But if you know damn well its over or close to the limit, just get it fixed or put up with it.
  17. They dont!? Anyway. Back on topic again. I saw some dude in an electric wheel chair on the gateway motorway going the wrong way southbound, he was heading north, around the airport. Now THATs something you shouldnt see on the road! Fing funny tho!
  18. When you go back to them. Don't forget to treat them with respect, dont raise your voice etc. Be nice and hopefully you get some joy back in return. Also mention that a number of your friends have been there and were happy with their work, hence you going to them. They have seen the work and couldnt believe it was the same shop rah rah. You go in there all guns blazing, you will put them in to defensive mode striaght away. Trouble is tho, you arent giving them a good oppertunity to fix the problem, as you are getting new gear fitted. Also keep that in mind.
  19. Get a Dr Drift chip or something simliar.
  20. Its def the brand new M3 in the background. Which also looks as if its had some stuff done to it.
  21. Yeah, thats heaps nice hey. Simple mods, but work.
  22. I got to agree with the fellas saying the mech diffs with alloly subframe bushes are a bit much for the street. I haven't known any different, but some days especially city driving in traffic its just too much. I want to park it and walk home. That and I think mine being old, 1 piece tailshaft, big clutch, stiffly sprung just adds to the pain, every little thing just gets transfered. Also I reallly dont like the 2way bit in the wet. I think 1.5 is the good compromise. Just dont have too soild rear end. They will clunk, and they will skip. Thats how they work, the clunk is it locking. The locking makes it skip.
  23. Can't you get anti lift and anti dive kits tho? I'm not saying that the soft spring rates were right, but arent there other options? Or don't these exist for skylines?
  24. Thats pretty good hey. Would appear much better service than another driveline mob out there. In hindesight I wish I went with driveline services. And really its not doing something for nothing. They just got a very good ad out of it, and if old mate ever needs anything else done he is going to go straight there no questions asked. That said, it is something many businesses have forgotten.
  25. Spotted JDM34 not once but twice today, got a couple of waves. BTW, Creek Rd then OldCleveland Its quicker.
