  1. Still more than enough to kill you!
  2. Well I guess QFM make more than one pad, are the ones you running the ones that everyone else is saying is good? That, and as said above look at your brake lines. I found the difference to be pretty big. I like a realllly solid brake pedal tho. Other thing, maybe look at getting your calipers serviced if you havent done that for a while.
  3. Its aimed directly at the 911 turbo buying market. They are compairing every single thing on the car do the 911 turbo. The marketing ploy is to sell it for half the price, which is basically the value of the porsche badge. Another thing is, have nissan just gone out of their way to beat the porka on the ring? As in, it will beat it on the ring, but no other track, as thats all nissan went after, as thats what the marketing department said to do. (obviously the race cars are a different story, they arent the same car)
  4. I just got the ebc red stuff put on, front only. I must say I quite like them. Mostly the feel. Haven't had them on the track yet, that will be the real test.
  5. Well why a 2 door... That and most of those cars don't have a boot anyway. Split the money, $10k gets you an R32, $10k gets her an astra. Done and done. Then you have 8-10 seats, and 2 boots!
  6. Pretty sure thats factory standard tint, so it might be different.
  7. That is exactly it. You buy it for the love of it, not to take advange of others. I guess tho, its not like a band where you might never see them again. 3 month wait isnt THAT long, so if they are happy to pay the premium... I still don't agree with it.
  8. Maybe nissan pulled out the semi slick trick again? (runs off to put on fire suit) Nissan have seemed to just go after the 911 turbo. I dont get it.
  9. Cant dissagree with your logic, as its most probably correct. But its got about 2* toe out, 5-6* castor, and about 1.5* camber... So we'll have to put it down to camber. Its going in for a wheel alinement on tuesday, so I'll get the settings you posted above done, see how I go with that. That said, my logic was if the car cant roll, its gotta go somewhere, so if the car cant roll over a bit to lean on the tyre, it goes somewhere else, being to the edge of the tyre. So maybe its somewhat to do with tyre pressure too. I havent had much sleep this week tho, so it probably doesnt make sense to anyone else.
  10. Its a night time when its a problem. You cant see with the windows up. Which is fine in summer...
  11. How thick are your sway bars? My front one is 30mm solid, and I feel its too thick, and is partly to blame for the outside of my front tyres getting scrubbed out.
  12. Absoultly nothing. Id prefer to use it. Far less crap in it.
  13. Spotted Yvonnes new shiny extreamly tidy R34, in her driveway last nite while picking up my krispy kremes (4 boxes )
  14. http://www.jamecpem.com.au/product.aspx?ci...d=22&view=1 I have that one. My dad got it for my birthday. He did all the research and its pretty good. Few reviews he read had it as #1. Stuff like easy to read, and its accuracy.
  15. My suggestion would be is get some quality front splits. Amp them, deaden and seal the doors. Leave it at that. If thats not enough, then go to as mentioned above some 6.5inch subs. Get 2 put them in the rear stock speaker location. That said there are some slimline subs, and with a good install you wont loose too much boot space. Not that R33s really have a boot to start with
  16. Go the SK option. You dont really need hight adjustment. I mean its nice and all, but if you pay to get a corner balance, there is no way in hell you are going to change the hight again. The bilsteins are just a nicer shock. And if your THAT concerned about the track. Go do some sums on how many track kms a year you are likely to do, compaired to road driving.
  17. I know. Im a defensive driving instructor BTW, its most people. As a rule people think they are above average.
  18. Yeah, even moderate acceleration is best. And I dont make that many mistakes. Yes I am sure of that. That is the average.
  19. Its funny when people dont know who owned what cars Anyway, dont knock Kias man. We had a kia carnival grande as a hire car. They are bloody awesome. All seats recline, cupholders everywhere, 3 zone climate control, a SUB!!! and they are massive.
  20. Hmm odd. We should car pool Cost me bloody $85 the other day to fill up. Thats another story tho...
  21. Spotted JDM34 right outside my work today driving past. Which way do you take in? Because I never see you driving on the gateway.
  22. So bang for buck, what do people think is the way to go for an R compound tyre. Id be running them on standard R32 rims.
  23. Booked them on day of release So yes yes I am going! What an awesome way to start the Chrissy break that is going to be!
  24. I guess the difference is the 3SGTE is a good motor...
  25. Ok... Well I drive mine normal, to get best fuel economy. So its normally moderate and even acceleration.
