  1. Also wheel revolutions might be able to do them. They are at slacks creek.
  2. Dude 2 way diffs are never the problem. Its the driver. At least the rear windscreen is good...
  3. The dry cleaner did offer the judge $10k before it got to the court stage... And deadset, who goes to yatala for the pies! Their cramel tarts is where its at!
  4. Just without the fear of dieing on the re-entry...
  5. Did anyone see Cog last night? And is anyone going to see Karnivool tonight?
  6. I'm still running with the uni joints themselfs. Obviously check everything else first. Or do what we did with mine, whack it on a dyno get under the car, see whats wobbleing. Just a shame those thompson couplings arent mass production yet.
  7. Rego, safety cert, pics, kms?
  8. Prove it. Because deadset that is one of the most dangerous things in an emergency as 99.99% of people just push down hard with both feet. So if one is on the go, and the other is on the woah, and you punch them both, you do not stop. (most people are smart enough to not use their left foot in an auto car so it isnt an issue). And if car designers really ARE that stupid, probably not a bad idea they make the thing tiny.
  9. That isnt it... I honestly think if google didnt have an answer, there is no reason to it other than the ' 'cause I can' logic.
  10. Yeah but $400 doesnt include fitting or 2 dyno runs!
  11. Your drunk at 5.55pm on a Monday night, then come on here asking that question? Anyway, good question. Google has NOTHING. What I find funny is when the pedal has 'brake' writen across it. So maybe thats it. It wouldnt fit on a manual sized pedal. But I think auto pedals should be even size. So like the accelerator is as big as the brake. So they can both be bigger.
  12. Well depends what you want really... If you just want it put in your car to play music, I dont think it matters where you go (too much... there are some places that would fist you) Anyway have you bought the gear already? If not I would probably recomend going to have a talk to them first. From my experience I found they go in to more detail, explain to you what does what, why you do one thing over another, why for what your doing one product is better than another etc. Not knowing the research you have done, a properly good system is not only has a clear sound, but its staged properly etc. If all you want to do is just listen to music, and really dont care about how its been put together, you probably dont need to go to that extent. But to answer the question, yes they are good. It is the ONLY place I will ever buy car sound gear again.
  13. What it COULD be (as it was with mine) is just dodgy unis. We had the shaft rebalanced, did nothing. Moved the box up, did nothing. Changed the wheels, same deal did nothing. Put it on the dyno under some load got under it to check, was definately the shaft. Went back to the place that did the shaft. They then all of a sudden 'worked out' that they put the cheap uni's in. Put in the better ones, haven't had a problem since. So if everything else is hunkydory, that could be it.
  14. Hahaha! Beat me to it! I think doing that car like that is worth it just to see all the people who clearly dont bother to read any other post in the thread. I am 100% sure if the owner COULD turn that back to a GTR he wouldn't have done what he did in the first place.
  15. Thats what I was thinking. Looks pretty close.
  16. Dude, wtf does a 13yo have a use of a quick release steering wheel without the rest of the gear to put it on a car. Not that they can even drive a turbo car until they are 20 or so. Some of your comments on here I swear are just to annoy someone even more because of their missfortune. Better them having a bit of rant on here than going mental at someone. Anyway, back to the story. Gold. What is strange tho, you caught one, he dobbed in the other, why don't you have your steering wheel back? Maybe you should go pay his perents a visit now you have his address, seek some compensation. Get the little barstards to paint your house or something
  17. You really had it for 8 years. Far out man. Thats ages. So what do you have now?
  18. Just quickly mate. Some mechanics charge out at $50p/h, and others I have heard being charged out at upwards of $100p/h, and not always charging out the same hours as they actually work on the car. Doing the same type of work on the same type of cars. So assuming they take the same amount of time using the same parts with the same tools to do the same job the guys charging out at $50 are ripping themselfs off, or the guys at $100 are having a bit of a lend. Don't kid yourself thinking all mechanics are honest. That said I would hope most are, and my experiences back up that most do, do the right thing. End my rant.
  19. Its not exactly something you want to skimp on... If its too cheap they might be using cheap products.
  20. That just looks so twitchy hey. Sounds unreal though.
  21. Umm I really dont see why not?
  22. Hahaha, you got jibbed hard then man. I rang them up, I got a quote which was FAR better than justcars, they also had a FULL list of mods emailed to them. Then I got all the stuff in the mail, read that. Rang them back. Asked for the agreed vaule, got that sorted. Then I pleaded with them to make me rating 1 as I am a defensive driving instructor. They said no, so I asked again. He went to his boss, then they gave me rating 1 with a saving of $300 a year. That and they know the car is in a carport not a garage, and its driven every day. Dude, ring them back up again.
  23. Spotted again Garry. Saw you in the City around Spring Hill this morning about 9am. I was on foot.
