Why are 34 GTR's still so expensive??
gizmo replied to 32godzilla's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
32godzilla - importers are making a killing. How do i know, one of my friend uncle knows an importer really well and got a R34 vspec compiled and landed in aus for $55k. Another friend who knows also a friend who run carizma in melbourne saids they make in the order of 20-40k on them. I reckon if you go and live in japan for a year and bring it back as a personal import, not only will you have a great holiday but you'll come back with a gtr that will definately be cheaper and better than whats on offer here. -

predator666 - yeah i can do the 3 months time pretty easy, the only issue i have is with the insurance "oh u lost your license that will be 1k extra thankyou very much". Your right though 12 months is pretty tough.... -
Gianni, Definately get it partitioned of as you will see a noticable improvement. I had the same filter as you without it partitioned before.

Jamezilla - no havnt seen it yet. Any good? INASNT - Sound like a plan....a good one too. thanks. darkhalf - definately a scientifically better proven method like that of CSI. For all i know she could have been daydreaming and then saw the tail lights of my liner, looked up and saw that its red, thought to herself he seemed to be going pretty fast thus must have ran the red sarcasm hippy - u are so lucky. I guess my next question is if the worst was suppose to happen would you a) lose your license and serve the 3 month suspension B) keep your license and go on a good behaviour bond for 12 months and drive like a grandma sunday driver. c) lose your license and still keep on driving only for emergency ofcourse....oh did i say that . -

Jamezilla - dont quite follow you there..... please explain GraemeWi - Good point. Wonder if my chances are better if i plead "delusional at time of driving" as i mis-took them from the christmas lights at the drags so i ran -

Brody - yes that was what i wanted to hear Morg - that wastnt what i wanted to hear Predator666 - it really depends on what the cops think you ran... u know you ran an orange which is ok but i think she was on a powertrip that night and booked me ..... as soon as she booked me she speed up to book another person straight away.... -
Guys, Need help on fighting this as license is on the line. I ran a yellow at around 12:30am and got pulled over by the cops. Did a breath test and then checked my license and said i will be receiving a red light infringement in the mail. Didnt issue me any on the spot ticket. Does this sound familiar, will i be able to fight this?.... thanks for any help in advance.

Kenshin, >how much the rego? cuz thats the only cost we gotta pay if we >buy from dealer and i know nothin abt it, since this is my first >time buyin a car =( very sad case i know The dealers usually give you 3 month registration. You do however have to pay stamp duty of 3% of the TOTAL Value of the car to the rta because it is a used car and trading hands. Ie if you buy privately its the same thing hence ppl on the sheet they bought it for $X thousands less to save on this cost.
-
Matt, Glad to see you posted up some pics.... you have PM.
-
As i understand it a dump pipe comes of the turbo. The front pipe is the pipe between the dump pipe and catalyst converter.
-
Can't wait to see the pics. Please send them on
-
Matt, Are they in the gold or silver?

Shipping is based on weight so you don't save by ordering all at once.. a neat thing they do is rip out any identification from the packaging and declare the price of the stock you purchase as being really low so you dont get charge any extra from import duty. Their preferred shipping is with EMS. I've also purchased quite a number of things with them with no problems so highly recommend.
