dude, sway bars WERE the best and cheapest suspension upgrade i ever did to my 30. bar getting adjustable castor. upgrade, daily or not. its worth it. i got both front and rear from whiteline 24mm and 22mm. came with everyting to fit and was around $300 i think. doo it. fyi, that image looks like the rear bar i got.

ok so columns all mounted, drilled a extra 2 holes in the firewall, and drilld out the existing studs. got a few pics, ive compard the angles to other skylines and silvias and it actually looks better !, only problem is now i need to shorten the splined section. have decided to use s13 control arms aswell, just that lil bit longer than r31. in the pic it goes r31,s13,r30. pretty much once the splined section is shortened ill be able to steer again! yay! still need to sort out a few lil things, but can do later. also sourced factory pwr steer lines etc, so theyl go in soon after the bays painted. hopefully when fully completed, to the untrained eye it will look like r30s, came with rack n pinion

yea sorry forgot about that, $400 its actaully a 18v nikel battery, comes with two batteries and charger, tang is green. never had a problem with it, things a rig. it hasnt had much work either, i only used it mainly 4 changing tyres when i go skidding, and occasional cash e s at home. never used it at the shop.

back on track, binned the s13 colum, got my hands on a pintara colum, sooo close to bolting straight up, needs a couple of minor mods to fit! i only need to drill an extra 2 bolts in the firewall, two already lined up !!, but i might drill them all out to 12mm. all i need to do is move the colum height adjuster down 25mm. and she be done. steering wheel boss is differnt. i was able to swap the igniton switch outa the dr and into the r31 barrel, just need to get a key!! havent tried with trims, or combo yet but shouldnt be to hard. when my camera works ill post up sum pics. like r34 said, surprisingly straight forward when u got the right bits!!

dude if u wanna drift DONT buy a mr2. Na s13 would be the go + u can always turbo the s13 later. my self i wouldnt bother with a na platform, unless u willing to spend sum cash, ie, they all get smaller brakes, smaller gearboxs, shit diffs etc.

got a set of standards? i had em cleaned like 6 years a ago and been sitting around since. ( motor only lasted a week before it blew up ) pretty sure i got a inlet mani with rail if y need 2

feel ur pain i did near on the exact same thing with my first "slapper" (stok rebuild with crome rings/bearings etc.) thing is i completely forgot to put the grub screw in the head lol, pulled of head, plugged it, metal gasket with spray, went strong 4 2 years. only pulled it down cos got sik of the blow by. ( was running 2x1.2mm restrictors) btw motor was pumped it sat on 7200 all day, no collar with a stok 25 pump. did like 12-16 drift/ circuit events in that time+ daily driven lol, 296kw on 1 bar. top motors.3Ls love it. awsome tune helped allot thou, rev limit was not to harsh. gl with it
