MINES_DATSUN... I feel sorry for you... don't get me wrong. I've been in a similar accident (at a similar age too) and it shook the sh!t out of me, and it wasn't until I had that accident that I really realised what tool I was behind the wheel. I'm glad to say I've NEVER had an accident since then... But just one thing mate: STAY OUT OF GT-Rs. R33 GT-Rs (well, any GT-R) aren't made anymore... you go smashing them up, and they'll become even more rare and expensive. I know, it could happen to anyone, but you've demonstrated that you can't handle GT-Rs. On the other hand, if you'd posted up pics of a smashed Holden...

I meant: If I tell my wife the RQs will pay me for the photo session, then it'll be ok. I want my wife to join in and pose for the photos too, if she's up for it.

I agree wholeheartedly there, Justin... (cool name;))Merli must've been very lucky to see that level of gang activity, in Hiroshima of all places. I'm like Dave and Troy, I see the motorcycles and scooter gangs more often than not, and they just basiclly make heaps off noise around 3am. I have to disagree with this one though... I ain't NEVER had a Japanese male, let alone a gang member, say "sugoi" or polite form "gaikokujin" when talking about foreigners... more like "Why the f*ck are you here..." To the guys that are considering coming here, just remember that Australia has 20,000,000 people, and Japan has 125,000,000... basically that means that there is a chance that you may never run into gangs at all (depending how long you stay).

It's an import. I paid $3,000 for my one (about that...) but like I say, it had a really good interior. That particular one looks ok, but I wouldn't pay anymore than $3,000 no matter how good it is... it's an old, old car.

All pics and story is absolutely 100% true... would I lie to SAU? Meet "Rei"... (2001) And here she is at 6pm tonight... I work with this girl. I had NO IDEA she used to work for TRIAL garage in Osaka!!! I won't divulge her name (it's the done thing amongst RQs so she tells me) but she goes by the "stage name" of Rei. There I was yesterday evening sitting down in an empty classroom on one of my breaks, sorting through the last of my TAS photos on my mobile. Rei is sitting at the front desk going over some scheduling changes (she works part-time for us as Japanese staff), when she gets up and comes over and says "nani sore?" (whats that - obviously she knew it was a mobile!) and I tell her it's a DoCoMo camera phone. I show her some of the pics from the TAS, and then she says "Do you like Race Queen or Companion?" to which I reply "Of course"... She then asks me to come to the front desk, where she quickly does a Google search for an RQ site. She then asks whether I know TRIAL! "Yeees! Why do you ask?" I say. "I worked for TRIAL as a RQ and Companion for 1 year, I did shows at the Osaka Auto Messe and at Central Circuit and events at TRIAL..." she said. And I'm like "Really?! Why did you quit?", which she replies "I don't like to diet!!!" Then the unbelieveable happened... she said "If you want me and my friends to pose for you, it's no problem, but you need to give us some costumes"...:headspin::headspin::headspin: Without a word of a lie, she SUGGESTED that I take photos *of her and her friends* in full costumes...:wassup: Guys of SAU, I appologize. I realize that you must see me as some guy that joins up at this forum and since July last year, has sprouted all this amazing stuff about Japan, V35 Skylines, Auto Salons, Nismo Festivals, Tuning shops and now Race Queens, without any 2nd thought. But it's true, this is my life, and I'm just letting you guys in on it. Stay tune, I'll sort a "Rezz's Photo Diary Special - Race Queens: Up Close and Personal" edition... Her promo card... /Rezz

Oh yeah, I'll only have it for a year, then ship it to my brother Trent in Perth... he can get rid of it or keep it, it's up to him.

There are a few in Perth... I have to move house before I get the V35, I'll have to wait till mid-year for it though... or I could just slap down the 400,000 - 500,000 yen for an R32 GT-R and be done with it.
