  1. What he said...^^^^^^ I wouldn't say Nismo and Autech were "rival" companies though, just two companies modifying some of the same vehicles to be aimed at different market segments...
  2. Irashaimase is what shop/restaurant owners say when you enter their shop/restaurant. Daidokoro (kitchen) is definately a random thing to shout out... you done that before have you Pva?
  3. She's just glad it's a car, and not some other late-model Japanese...
  4. Me too... since Bathurst '91/'92. As Dave says, you can't go wrong with one. And I've officially fallen in love with the V35... yes, you heard me!
  5. You sure he hasn't been banned or something?
  6. Lucky bastard!!!:D Chrissy in Japan is soooooo commercial... only.
  7. Workin' today Dave?
  8. The 25t RS FOUR S has: 17" rims with 215/50 rubber standard, the NEO Straight 6 engine, optional twin sunroofs, rear foglamps, and comes in Red, Dark blue, Yellow, Black, Green Pearl, and Silver. Went new for 3,260,000 yen. The Type-B has: None of the above, except it has 16" rims with 205/55 rubber and a non-NEO 6 RB25DET (same power as the NEO though... strangely quoted as 280ps). It's also strange to point out that the Type B doesn't seem to have a sound system available for it, not even a radio. At first I thought it might be like an "N1" version, but I think this might be a mistake. It's strange because all this info is taken direct from Nissan Color catalogues. Went new for 3,040,000 yen. This fully optioned one... ...is going for 1,880,000 yen from a dealer. It's aaaaaall good.
  9. A Calsonic T-shirt?
  10. Go to the "Japan" forum dude, theres a thread there called "Help Rezz! Models of Stageas...", it's got half the info you're looking for there, and I'll post up a bit more later tonight if possible.
  11. "Nismo" Autech RS260?
  12. RS Watanabe Worth their weight in gold? They're a dime a dozen 'round here!
  13. Dude, if you want to add an image to your post, just type (right click on the square with the red cross and select "properties", then you can see the file extention you need to type with at the end of it...) About the kit, that pre-'85 stuff is getting really hard to find, it could be a tough one. I'll see what I can do. Maybe DemonDave might be able to help more than me?
  14. The Teana in Japan is only available in AT or CVT transmissions anyway... Also, the Teana is actually slightly bigger than the V35 Skyline, so if I'm not mistaken, that could be one of the reasons why Nissan chose the Teana/Maxima over the Skyline... oh, that, and Holden has a secret deal in place preventing any decent RWD Japanese cars to be sold against the Commodore...
  15. Oh, but back on topic... I had two Japanese guys drive up in a slammed '90 Toyota Crown while I was walking down the right hand side of a street with my wife, then the guy on the passenger side winds down his window and leans out and shouts "Gaijin!!!" as they slowly drove past. I just yelled back "F@ck you too!" then forgot about it, but my wife got REALLY upset, got his liscence plate number and when we got home, she was going to report the guy to the police! I just said "Baby, he just called me a name, thats all", but boy was she mad... and it was me who was called out!
  16. I'm not dissing you guys at all, but I just think that it's highly improbable that a Japanese would even know a Skyline when they saw one, let alone know the model name ie: GTS-T etc. Even I get abused for being a Nissan freak by Japanese... like it's wierd or something. I think either a) you guys are very lucky to have run into a Japanese thats knows (read: gives a sh!t about) cars, B) they weren't Japanese but some other nationality, or your telling porkies!!!
  17. Mmmm, Bayside Blue... You mean like this, Dave? Its Bayside Blue #TV2... off of that link I posted above. All those colors represented are factory.... limited edition I don't know. I've never seen one in Bayside Blue personally though.
  18. You've got R34 GT-R M-Spec skirts on your R33?
  19. You want linkage too??? ok... Check out the WGNC34 Stagea History... **Note the Series 1 WGNC34 was produced from 3/10/1996, and the Series 2 from the 31/8/1998. The Series 1 had the lower power out put from all engines, in paticular the RB25DET with 235ps. The Series 2 upped the power of the RB25DET (with help from NEO-6) to 280ps... the post August '98 models are the pick of the bunch obviously.
  20. Hows about a "Rice Yellow"...

Nissan Prince Kanagawa produced only 7 (!!!) of these cars towards the end of '98 through to '99. Based on a standard ECR33 GTS25t Type M, Nissan Prince Kanagawa in asscociation with REINIK (Race and rally Engineering division Incorporated NIssan-Kohi) put together what is basically an RB25DET version of the Nismo 400R engine, minus the N1 Turbos labelled the RB-X. A full REIMAX 2.8L kit was used, giving what has been described as "wonderfully thick torque, that rises from 1600rpm like a demon...". Other areas of the car were also upgraded (ie: suspension, clutch, and ECU) although, like the 400R, it's interestting to note what wasn't upgraded, namely the transmission and the brake calipers/disks. A maximum 300hp on tap with plentiful torque made this car a pleasure to drive, and the 2.8L capacity (hence the "280" designation) is still available through REIMAX in kit form. The original selling price was 3,980,000 yen. /Rezz

All the rest are various 2WD and 4WD RB25DE and RB25DET combinations with different trim levels. All models came only in AT except the Autech Versions and the 2.5 25t RS FOUR S and the 2.5 Type-B wich was available with both AT and MT transmissions.
  23. Alright, cheers mate... I'll watch this space.
