  1. Where is that... in the middle east or somewhere? A left-hand drive GT-R is not a GT-R... you hear that Carlos Gohsn?!!!? :headslap:
  2. I disagreed with: What I meant was: A professional will gladly deal with 10,000 f*ckwits in a row, and not let it affect their outlook. Total customer service. Nice. Thats all...
  3. I`m sorry dude, I just scanned their site, and they give 2 different ABN`s(Australian Business Numbers) for the same business name! Check the ABN they give in the "Contact Us" part, then have a look in the "Products" section, and click on the "Policy" button, and look at the ABN they wrote under the "Refund Policy" section. Like 51jay said, their address is a PO Box in a shopping center! Theres not much you can do... sorry.
  4. Direct Injection is where the injectors are positioned so that they spay directly into the piston bore, as opposed to being positioned in the intake runners. Up until recently, Direct Injection was only used in low power applications, the most common (in Japan) being the Mitsubishi Galant GDI. As you can imagine, extremely precise air/fuel contol is possible with this, creating better fuel economy and much less emmissions. But now, Direct Injection and Turbo is the key to High-power/Low-emmissions... and Nissan is at the forefront as usual...
  5. No floody I think your right on the money... although some enthusiasts might cringe at the idea of a narrow angle cam placement, effectively a "One and a half" cam instead of a true twin cam (well, you know what I mean, the airflow through the narrow angle heads is hardly "performance" style), but the QR20VET might be getting direct injection... so the VVL, the Direct Injection and Turbo combo sounds good:)
  6. The engine in the current X-Trail 2.0GT is an SR20VET, so Nissan DOES have a habit of putting "V" in the engines code designation... ...skooled ya! j/k
  7. I disagree there Zensoku, the customers are the ones with the money... F*ckwit or not, they should be dealt with maturely... and their money promptly taken from them. Say a little "Enjoy the rest of your day!" and let them go about their business. They`ll be back, so rinse.. and repeat. That separates the pros from the amatures.
  8. QR = New engine model designation... nothing to do with "SR". 20 = Thats right AeroGrace, 2.0L... hold the OJ and Milk... VET = Right again omp, Variable cam timing EFI (duh!) Turbo... it`s gonna have Direct Injection too. Like I say, pics on Mon/Tue.
  9. Guys, details are a bit scarce, but a Nissan (*Nissan Japan* I might add, none of this Nissan USA bollocks) insider leaked to Horide Auto Mag that a new Silvia is on it`s way, but don`t expect any prototypes or anything until 2006. They also mentioned the powerplant, a QR20VET, with all the emmissions gear, to keep the new Silvia in line with it`s predecessors. No hint of a chassis yet, but the FR configuration is a definate... But OMG, it (the CG image) looks just like the Fairlady Z!!! I mean... 350Z!!! Not another one... At this point, I`d like to give a big "thank you" smack to the back of the head of Carlos Gohsn, for f*cking up the momentum and key design of yet another of Nissans legendary sports cars... I`ll have pics posted up on Mon/Tue. /Rezz
  10. ... and thats exactly why people get pissed off with retail service standards in Australia... because shop staff don`t feel obligated to their customers... If a customer wants something not in stock... you damn well pick up the phone and get it for them! And you get their Name and Phone number too! And when that part comes in, you call them asap! If the part isn`t available, spend some time with the customer figuring out what could substitue! :looney:Customers like that:looney:
  11. Yeah, there`s usually a horde of ladies flicking through magazines each time I go... they look so bored... but I guess because of K`s Garage, my missus wants to know what all the fuss is about.
  12. Yeah, and after they`re thoroghly bored with that approach, then they`ll just go: "F*ck I hate Jap imports... your vehicle is impounded..."
  13. It`s just such a pity that every time I go to SuperAutobacs, it`s with my wife, and I just wanna discuss the merits of some of the gear from, say, RE Amemiya, and all she`s got to say is: Kakoiiiii kore!!! Kono paatsu no burakku chekku no zairiyo ga nani? e? Kaabon faibaa? Zen zen chigaimasu yo! Kaabon faibaa ja naiyo... Zairiyo wa waffaru o mitai... chotto hen naaaaa... After that we generally just leave and go to Gap or something...
  14. Holy shit... is he ok?
  15. So is there a Group or Movement that I can join to combat this? C'mon you guys! Why aren't their lobby groups (eg:like the NRA in the US with guns) to stop all this revenue raising bollocks?
  16. Thats it... I was going to move back to Melbourne. F*ck Victoria, the Police state... what a joke:shake: Hello Sydney...
  17. No... I always get my wife;) to ask them if they have any, but they're always on back-order...
  18. Well, the last time I went there, they had in stock: Spoon Carbon Fibre front lip spoiler for EK Civic Spoon CF induction system for EK/DC5... (it`s just awesome) Mines(!) Titanium Cat-back system for R34 Mugen/Showa Coil overs for DC5 Feed FD3S Front spoiler and Carbon GTWing RE Amemiya Carbon GT Wing and front guards The full line-up of Rays wheels Ditto for Work, Buddy Club, Mugen, Weds Sport and Nismo 24" Chrome Wheels in tha house (I have photos) Much, much more... too much to list. You guys would die if you just went to Autobarn...
  19. Is that place across the road from a shopping mall called "La Plaza"? I think it`s next to an Import dealership as well? If it is, I went in there one time, and those guys (I think they`re Malaysian) thought they knew EVERYTHING about Japan, when, in actual fact, they didn`t know anything. It`s like an Ozzie saying he knows everything about... Alaska.
  20. R34 GTT stock rollingstock...
  21. Although I`m not in Oz anymore, thats one of the things I remember most that made me cringe... being told by a 20-year-old shop assistant that something doesn`t exist (when it does). I think it`s a stuck up pride thing, rather than admit that they don`t know shit and are just working there coz their Dad told them to, they just dust you off. Losers. Well, not at K`s Online Garage!!!
  22. I can vouch for www.tkotinting.com too, he`s my brother! He`s done plenty of R33`s too...
  23. Yeah, I bought my brother a die-cast 1/43 scale V35 Skyline sedan about 2 years ago....
  24. Yes, that be true... I`m investigating it for R31 Skyline Club as we speak (I`ll get there one day:D)
  25. Oooookaaay... airbags WERE OPTIONS on HR32 Skyline GTS-t Type-M`s from 8/91 on. Believe me, I don`t post stuff unless I triple check it. Please guys, read the posts before replying. Just because you`ve never seen something, it doesn`t mean it doesn`t exist... especially on Japanese Imports!
