  1. Who me?
  2. It's sounds too typically "Japanesey" type word... hell only old buggers say that here, and even then, it's after a company meeting where they sing the company slogan and then yell "banzai" and throw they're hands up in the air 3 times... like you'd say in English "hip-hip hooray". Mothers say it to little kids when they're dressing them, so that the little kid throws his arms up and mum can put his t-shirt on. Do you really want that on your plate?:D:D
  3. The NSX is sooooooo much more than a 1/4 mile timesheet... but point taken, it *should* be quicker point-to-point for the money.
  4. I don't know why that article refers to the new skyline as an *R*35... when it's quite obvious that the new Skyline is a V6 VQ engine. It's V35 Have a look at this thread... It should tell you all the latest info up to July and some pics of the engine and other stuff.
  5. Those wheels look kinda "Mercedes Benz Bling"... why not go for some racing style wheels?

Mmmm.... Check out the first post in this thread... It seems legit, but the source is from Brazil, so read into that any which way you want. As it stands, only a few Facons and HSV's made it in, which is about right coz nobody outside Australia gives a shit about Australian stuff . Honestly, theres only about 25-odd cars that are CONFIRMED as of mid-July, and most of them were older cars. But goddam it, I hope that link above is legit...
  7. Aaaah shit, I've been living in Japan for the last 3-odd years, and engine power here is measured in "ps" (PS is short for Pferdestarke, the term for metric horsepower... 1.013 = 1Hp), and thats what the cars are measured by in the Jap version of GT3.
  8. ok, first, don't use AT. Secondly, don't use a car with over 550ps. Any more than that and the car gets too "unmanagable" with on/off throttle changes. Get into the habit of "tapping" the throttle button... give it a bootful to get the tail out, then just as the car is at the point where it might do a 180 turn, back-off FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND, then "tap" the throttle again... and again... and again, in quick succession. All this time your steering from full lock (either way, depending if it's a right/left-hand corner) to center, to full-lock again, balacing the steering inputs with the throttle tapping. Use the brakes ONLY to keep the tail-out attitude in control. When you've mastered a good drift be it at Trial mountain, or the Big loop at Complex String, then you can get into using the handbrake to start the slide waaaaaay back from the corner...
  9. >Nameless EJ6: The engine you have possibly came from either a Stagea 25t RS Four, a 25t X Four, or a 25t RS Four V. It didn't come from a 25t RS Four S because they only came with an MT trasmission. Stagea 25t RS Four (V, X) - E-WGNC34 Engine: RB25DET 2498cc in-line 6 Turbo Power: 235ps (174kw) @ 6400rpm Torque: 28.0kg/m @ 4800rpm Type: 4WD Transmission: AT only Weight: 1620kgs The Stagea debuted in September 1996, using the R33 FR platform wich used a 2.0L RB20E SOHC engine. The RB25DEt made an appearance in Sept 1997. The 4WD versions make use of a "Syncro Mode" ATTESA 4WD system (50/50 torque split?). In Sept 1998 there was a minor model change, the most obvious differences being the different front grill and incorporated fog-lamps, and the adoption of the NEO Straight 6 RB25, the turbo version which of course put out 280ps. The "Autech Version 260RS", the most famous of them all, had the RB26DETT installed, and took the crown for most awsome wagon from the Mitsubishi Legnum like Nissan had planned all along. Debut>Model change>Autech 260RS>
  10. It's hard to say without actually driving it, but yes, it is a steal at that price. It's prolly had an acci"dent" or two in it's lifetime, and it might drive good around town, but get it on a dragstrip or track, and the OMG price might become more indicative of it's true condition.
  11. Mou sude ni aru yo, demo nihongo de hanasu pointo ga nai datte, bokutachi wa oosutrariajin dakara... But don't worry about me dude, theres some Perth boys who are after some feedback:)
  12. Nope. It's "benpi".
  13. :bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha: Couldn't help but notice that your Username, if pronounced as is with a silent "h" (ben-pi) it means "constipation" in Japanese...
  14. >TOnyGTSt: Just needs a set of aero mirrors, and it's complete...
  15. THATS what I'm talkin about! Nice one , TOnyGTSt...
  16. Yep. Good read... I almost feel sorry for the Yanks now;)
  17. What about these Black Racing ProN-1 wheels... ... in 18x8.0 front and 18x9.0 rear with DNA GP Tyres in 235 40/18 front, and 265 35/18 rear for $2900?
  18. How about a set of these BRAND NEW Weds Sport SA-90 @@‚P‚Vx‚W.5 front, 17x9.5 rear, with a set of DNA GP Tyres, 235 45/17 front, and 255 40/17 rear for $2300 including freight to Perth?
  19. It sux for me coz I got 12megs/sec connection... wasted.
  20. Steve, why don't you present ROH or somebody with a deep dish design? They might just go there.... Oz made Japanese style wheels - for Aussies who are fed up with this...
  21. Seriously though... Color choice, be it for wheels, interior, body, whatever, should be entirely up to you... but having said that, I think gold wheels look crap... even on the Impreza/Kia WRX twins... Bronze on the other hand, especially bronze TE37's, are the mutt's nuts.:burnout:
  22. How about this... not silver though...
  23. The "Nur" name for the R34 GT-R is more ascociated with the lightened pistons, rods, and "balanced" engine that are common with the Nurburgring 24hour GT-R race car, and the Super Taikyu Race car, than with the standard GT-R's laptime around the 'Ring. I think Nissan was trying to pay tribute to the GT-R's connection with Nurburgring, rather than boast about a quick laptime.
  24. 40meg @ 10kb/sec!!!!
