Just had a thought. Take your starter motor out and you might be able to get to the "T" and tighten clamp or maybe see the problem.
-
Yeah right under there is T ( for want of better word ) where the feed for the turbo water line and something else ( maybe heater ) comes out of head or maybe too if block. But no surprises you have leak there. Only under high pressure so could just be clamp not holding. Intake off is a prick. Obviously left hand drive !? Looks weird with brake booster etc on hot side.

Best AWD/4WD torque split controller

Shit I only just re-read what I wrote. Meant to say-- definitely doesnt apply pressure when in 2wd. [emoji51] -
Best AWD/4WD torque split controller

Exquisit. I've had both. The ets pro definitely does apply pressure when in 2wd. It turns the hydraulic pump off and does not prime. I had mine (r33) on hoist and fronts didn't turn. Runic was good for track but much more subtle difference. Ets pro can be turned up, very aggressive. And 2wd mode can be fun. -
No permission again
tricstar replied to tricstar's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
On the app. It won't let me log in. Says I'm not logged in and don't have permission. Comes up with the forgot my password thing so I try that and says the same thing. Just going round in circles -
No permission again Wow I'm copping some issues. Now it's saying I don't have permission even just to view a thread or any area really. Help!!

Hi all. I'm about to order the atr43sat for a 25. Looking to make 450-500rwhp Questions are: Can that be had internally gated through standard dump? If I need to change dump etc might as well go ex-gate yeah?
-
Sounds like you've made your decision. And each to there own.! Have you been in a stocker with a modern single ? Cause your about to spend ALOT of money on standard capacity with less response and less power?

[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
tricstar replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
That video shows pretty clearly the response of that turbo. I imagine some people are too busy getting their cars sorted and driving them to worry about having an Internet battle and defending their setup because Joe Blow with standard position bolt ones is make X psi at whatever rpm. Not a dig at anyone, just why I think the data is thin on the ground. -

3L 8374 and a bloody good driver ! Well done Matt 1st place -
Where's the link Wes bra

Nah Pete. Sold that car about a year ago. Should only be running at very low duty at idle. Suppose it depends on how is setup. Like very thing.
-
Fuelab. Virtually silent at idle, only running at something like 10% then when on boost obviously you can't hear the pump ! Wished I'd switched from the load Magnaflow years earlier. No brainier.

Rb26 Gearbox & Drive Shaft
tricstar replied to js-33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yeah well I did get a result pretty quickly with this experiment. The problem for me was I didn't change the clutch at the same time as putting in the cyro'd box. So was still running the OS RC3 (box destroyer ) , I wanted to put in the Nismo coppermix which I eventually did, but timing didn't allow. Anyway, put box in, went to Rally sprint event, stripped 3rd on 2nd run. So literally did couple of hundred kms. So not conclusive, I still blame clutch. After that, got new OS gearset and coppermix $$$$$ and sold car. End of my story -
Putting R33 Gtr Into Rwd ?
tricstar replied to tricstar's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Usmair. That one in pic isn't it. In the 2 GTRs I've owned they've both been tucked up just above your right leg when in drivers seat. On one car ( series 3-33)was white plug on the other (series 1-33)was brown. Both little plugs with single wire. -
Front Diff Damaged. Options
tricstar replied to MJTru's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
[ A 2 way in the front? I didn't know you did that man, would've been interesting on decel TBH most of the time, you wouldn't know it's there. But if pushing hard at the track and down shifting aggressively, it would lock up the fronts. Strong diff. Couple of times i limiter launched it, forgetting it was in RWD, then with foot flat spinning the rears, I flicked the 4wd switch and you just had to hang onto the wheel. Felt brutal. Don't recommend that method. -

I had the OSGiken 2-way in the front with 600+whp. Launched the crap of that with the ETS pro turned to max in manual and auto modes, felt like the car was trying to tear itself in half. Anyway that diff was strong, did hundreds of launches. Just moved the weak point to gearboxes. Snapped input shafts, smashed 2nd's and 3rd's. But OS 2way was nice front diff, no where near as harsh as Nismo GT-pro rear.
