1. mate I'm sure we can do some laps hows the silver bullet coming along, you got it all sorted
2. me
3. make sure you post up the results, I'll be very interested to see..
4. I had the GTK850 on a 2.8L, made 760hp on engine dyno @26psi, so they certainly do make a 750hp turbo, it is a sexy looking turbo, but even on a 2.8L all the power is above 4500rpm, now running a TO4Z on the same setup, makes slightly less @ same boost but comes on at least 500rpm earlier, also ran those numbers with standard fuel lines, and 3" exhaust between dump and centre muffler...
5. I sent my form for motokanna and display yesterday, I'll do both sessions if theres room, but only 25 cars per session? should full up pretty quick..
6. thats a big call from someone who hasn't had one in their GTR, I had 2 and would never go back
7. on the topic of biggest twins, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think Ant from Xspeed in perth had twin TO4Z's on his GTR with a 2.6L a couple of years ago ??
8.

yeah nice one Bart, did you beat Will in his own car ?
9. yeah he's very unimpressed, now wants to trade on a secondhand R35 GTR he's sick eating my dust
10. I'll be interested in what you end up with and how it sounds, might go the same way, and get rid of all the amps and subs in the boot, the box must weigh 40kg at least
11. no way at the wheels, my brother just did $10k+ on his new malloo with LS3, all new race heads, big cams, cool air induc, extractors, exhaust, tuned and tuned and got 460rwhp, when you already have 6Litres I don't think the extra 0.2litres makes much difference.. should have gone under bonnet supercharger, for $10k could get close to 750bhp, or maybe closer to $20k
12. nah still takes a shit load to get 750hp from an LS3, and yeah budget $40K for a 750hp RB as said, when I bought my car, engine dyno'd with 760bhp RB28, guy gave me reciepts for $40k+ with no labour.. good luck
13. yeah all good boyz, any track time is good track time..and at least you get more long track with the tuning days. If you think Nolimits is expensive, factor in your WASCC membership for a year and how many days you do, I don't reckon there'd be much in it.. But anyway I'm all for more people ( especially skyline owners ) taking it to the track, whatever the event or track day.. beats getting pinged for hooning.
14.

ok well you two did good then.. bro goes pretty hard in the malloo ( tank )
15. not wanting to put a dampner on this but, Tuning Days aren't really an event, there is no timing, racing, fastest, slowest, winners, losers etc you just get access to the track to do laps, which after a couple of times can get a bit boring, sure you can pump out some laps,to get familiar with the track and tune your setup. I find the Nolimits nights a bit more exciting with live timing and a leader board, you can see if you are actually getting quicker, and where you stand.. just my 2c
16.

\last year I stepping as co-driver with my bro, about half way through,(his co-driver felt sick) in the white malloo, if you were in the 350z, looks like we beat you, I did the year before in the GTR.. good days, but pricey for seat time. good luck OP
17. yeah I'll do this one, the drome can be a bit of fun...
18. if it does 95kmph in 1st and 130kmph in 2nd its probly an OS gearset, and I yes I think it could have a standard input shaft, not sure about any markings
19. thanks fo the answers guys, dump has big flexi in it and manifold is braced at mani/turbo back to the head, also used crush/lock nuts. and manifold is ceramic coated . did have the turbo faced last time before it went on, sounds like I need to take the manifold off and have that faced also, I'll try that with the loctite and gasket, I didn't use any silocone last time.
20. I have a 2.8 with TO4Z running up to 26psi, on the track especially the turbo gets glowing red hot and obviously the thin metal gasket between turbo and manifold can't handle it and blows out the front and back, this one has only lasted 2 events and has blown out the front, I don't want to have to keep replacing it every month or 2 ? thinking of just running a weld across the front? or does anyone have any other options?
21. it depends on what power you are planing on ? that might help people with an answer, I've been running 600+rwhp on 98oct with standard lines but that doesn't help you .. am about to upgrade to dash 8 feed and use the original feed for the return, I know someone with 630rwhp and E85 running this exact setup.
22. yep running M800 here also with no such issues, car still runs standard ecu also but motec does injectors +1 for motec forum, very helpful
23. yeah that's still good, but if your putting in a new twin plate, it will most likely come with its own flywheel
24. well that is changing the clutch ? single, twin, triple, quad, no real difference
25. $400 is good, I've paid $600 a few times, now do it myself, pretty straight forward.. at $400 I'd almost think twice about doing it myself tho
