i was listening to the BBC on short wave radio and apparently over in Brazil the minimum ethanol in there fuel is 10% and they have been running this for some time!

Ok im goin to rebuild my RB20DET cos ive started to get blow by cos of the stock rings not coping well with 190rwkw and abit of drag racing anyway whats the best forged pistons and rings should i use ?? Ive heard people say this and that about aires, wiseco etc and total seal and N1 rings but as ive never rebuilt an engine before i dont know what i should buy also if anyone know where they can get good forgies cheap in victoria send me a PM

Yes comes with actuator but it requires a dump pipe as I used it on my new turbo You can get them cheap from EBAY in split pulse type

I made 186rwkw the other day at Bresciani Racing Specs Are RB20DET (Silver top) Hybrid copy intercooler RB25 Turbo ( has steel wheel conversion) running 17psi 3" exhaust Pod Filter I maxed the injectors out on the dyno run so for more power I will need GTR injectors, Bosh 044 fuel pump, Microtech LT8

im just wondering which of these 2 dump pipes will give you more power - screamer dump pipe or split pulse dump pipe? Im looking at getting either one which works best for my RB25 Turbocharger im using on my RB20DET engine Ive seen heaps of companys selling split pulse pipes on EBAY etc but not many selling screamer pipes, anyone know of any companys that sell screamer pipes?

Yeah im running a R32 Gts-t 5spd and yeah when I come on boost you can hear a high pitch squieling noise from it so id say the bearings are goin to die soon, I will be looking at either a properly built JATCO or a R33 Gts-t 5spd either way im looking at 2500 which ever way I go

Anyone ever heard of people using Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) in 5spd manual boxes in skylines, Apparently its supposed to give them better lubriction and quiet the gearbox operation down If anyone has done this or know if it works well please put up a post as I want to hear other peoples responses before doing it to mine

Im still using the stock internal wastegate on the stock RB20 ceramic turbo, I was told at Bresciani Dyno Day that it was spiking and I need a aftermarket internal wastgate actuator to make it hold 14psi boost

Put my car on the dyno the other day and it made 147rwkw on 14psi but it was spiking between 9psi and 14psi, the dyno operator said I need a better actuator to make it hold boost on the stock RB20 turbo, What actuator should I use to make it hold 14psi all day long and not spike.. Im not looking at upgrading the turbo either......

yeah I think doing what I did wasnt right, if anyone has some pics of how theirs are setup on either a RB20 or RB25 please post them up so I can get a better understanding of how to install mine

I got myself a new oil catch can , its a sealed item with no breather and 2 hose connections at the bottom, Do i plug off the PCV and just run the 2 hoses from both rocker covers to the catch can ?????

so you guys are saying the RB25DET 5spd is stronger than a VLT MX-7??? Yeah I actually have a VLT tailshaft laying around so Im right there, Anyone know how much approx I will pay for a good RB25DET, 5spd??

Ok I blew my RB20DET 5spd man box at local drags using slicks Whats the best way to get strengh so this wont happen again now im contemplating in either using a RB25DET 5spd as they are supposed to be stronger than the RB20DET unit, Also will my RB20 clutch (exedy HD) be ok to use with the RB25 box?? or is there any auto boxes that are strong that will work, like RB20 or RB25??? I just dont want to go back out again and destroy another gearbox on slicks...
